Lol, and we are ruled by Mods.

1 less O.

Just sayin. Love ya Mods!

She won't, it's over. K won't be sitting when the court resumes.

It's all BS what they are doing.

Ford, Rameriez, and now the creepy porn lawyer and his BS.

They need to take a vote now by thurs or it's over for the repubs if they let the dems control the process.

Think the dems would allow this to happen?

They would blow off the accusers like they usually do. Trash her too.

First post back.

Since when do people get a say in the attorney for the other party?

This whole thing is mind boggling. People have gone insane.

when dr fords " allies " include micheal avenatti - its no surprise that they want to prevent justice kavanaugh having competent legal counsel

Demands from Ford's legal council you haven't heard about:

1.) Kavanaugh MUST enter the chamber to the tune of 'Phantom Of The Opera'.
2.) Kavanaugh's chair MUST be six inches lower than Ford's...and wobbly.
3.) Kavanaugh's lawyers MUST all wear "I'm With Rapey!" tee shirts.
4.) Kavanaugh MUST be dressed as Freddie Kreuger.

According to her letter to Sen. Grassley she will be showing up.

Kavanaugh and his wife will appear on Fox exclusively at 7pm tonight. (eastern)

He says he's not withdrawing and will fight to clear his name.
The letter sounds like she is claiming that the right wingers are employing left wing tactics. Being followed, threatened and hounded sounds very similar to the "resist's tactics" used against Trump staffer over the last year.

On Thursday, it might be prudent to have only participants in the committee room to prevent the circus put on by the Democrats last week.

I don’t think she will testify on Thursday because I believe the entire story is not true and she thought just the allegation would be enough to derail the nomination.

An attorney for the woman who accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her decades ago has raised fresh concerns about the format for Thursday's highly anticipated hearing with her and the Supreme Court nominee.

So unless these people quickly develop some kind of respect for the process used in senate confirmation hearings, I doubt that we will see this lady testify.

From your source.

First of all, as mentioned previously, it is absurd that she thinks they have any say in who the Senate chooses to question her.

This statement from her attorney shows how oblivious they are:

This is not a criminal trial for which the involvement of an experienced sex crimes prosecutor would be appropriate.”

I heard a Democrat on the news talking like that last night. She literally said this is not a big deal, and it is not like Kavanaugh will go to jail or anything. They just don't want him on the Supreme Court.

Their entire purpose is clear. It has nothing to do with justice for this woman. As we know, this woman is being used only to stop Trump's pick from the SC. They do not even think of Kavanaugh as a real person whose life they are trying to ruin.

Kavanaugh hearing once again in question as Christine Ford raises new concerns

And - I still doubt she will ever testify. They are just trying to delay until Avenatti can pay off someone to regurgitate his lies.

Y'know, I'd have more respect for a source if they didn't use "sketchy" every other sentence...at least.

Your readers can decide for themselves supposedly.

I don't need to be told it's "sketchy", or he's "sketchy", or that she, too, is "sketchy". I already know that, as I have eyes to see with, ears to hear with, and a brain to occasionally think with.

For some reason I have this picture in my head of Ford yelling at the lawyers and saying "you told me that I would never need to testify", "you told me they would drop his nomination and I would never need to testify", "you said you would fix this"....
and generally freaking out.

If so, she should have thought about that before climbing into that particular bed of snakes.

She'll get little to no sympathy from anyone, and that includes her "allies".

Looks like the second accuser is not going to talk to the senate.

Deborah Ramirez, a Yale University classmate of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, is refusing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee about her accusation against Kavanaugh, a GOP lawmaker said Tuesday.

Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., who sits on the committee, said a lawyer for Ramirez told committee staff she would not speak to them about her allegation that Kavanaugh flashed his naked groin in her face during an alcohol-laden party their freshman year. Ramirez made the accusation in a blockbuster Sunday night New Yorker story.

“Our counsel repeatedly tried to reach him,” Kennedy said of Ramirez's lawyer. “They finally did reach him, and he said we are not issuing a statement. He said if you want our statement, read the New Yorker.”

At least that should silence the cries of the Democratic Senators who were this morning demanding that ALL accusers should be allowed to testify. This one apparently has no interest in doing so.

I'm with BlueAjah... I wonder how much the New Yorker paid, via Democratic activists funneling campaign donations? Making wild claims to the media seems to be quite the lucrative occupation as of late.
