I wonder what would make a career leo step down so suddenly......

He plans to go full RESISTANCE...as a private citizen.

Mark my words.

the only way he does that is if he knows mueller wont or cant get the job done

he will have much less credibility as a private citizen

No credibility...?

CNN don't care. They'll hire him!

Hell, they probably already inked a deal.

It would be sedition if his intention was to overthrow a duly elected president .

Could you site a case where sedition was charged for those trying to get rid of a president?

Aren't you watching the news?

"Credibility" is a dying concept that has utterly morphed into a team color.

It's all about the outrage machine now...by any means possible.

It will be generations before this nation recovers, if at all.

Resign and you keep your pension. Rosenstein has enough time-in-service for max pension.

Andy McCabe losing his pension was a warning across the bow to all deep-state criminals.

Correct me if I am wrong but could this not cause a massive problem for Trump.

He can't get his Supreme Court judge appointed, he hates sessions then this guy goes, sessions could lets face it follow shorty so he has all this big jobs vacant going into the mid-terms.

I don't quite get how this is good for Trump?

Oh you should take a ride on the latest Q drops

You'll be surprised when you see Sessions is in Trump's team.

I mean. That's what I would do. Trump is the one who wants him out. Why appease him by resigning? Force Trump to fire Rosenstien so the optics look bad on Trump not Rosenstein. Makes sense.

Yes that would be the correct calculus if Rosenstein is acting by the motivation of wanting to resist trump and see bhim fail.

If he was not doing that, and was instead motivated by what is good for the country, he would say something to the effect of

"Mr president, I did not do what is claimed I did. However, if you have lost confidence in me, then I will step down"

Just my opinion.

H.Res.1028 - Impeaching Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy Attorney General of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors.

This Congressional Resolution has enough evidence to show he should have lost his job long ago. This discusses his conflicts of interest, the problems with his actions on the FISA warrants, etc. etc.

He also was stonewalling turning documents over to Congress.
