The Thursday meeting will be awkward to say the least. Trump will be trying to glean information, whilst Rosenstein will be trying to get the President to say something about the Mueller investigation so he can leak it when he leaves/is fired.
Oh to be a fly on the wall in that meeting. I suspect that the President will have someone else present and will record the meeting himself, whilst ensuring Rosenstein is searched, lol.

No, he did not say that at all.
Trump has the Inspector General reviewing them.

and yes... anything to remove trump is okay in my book. Dont act surprised. Im entitled to my opinion just like anybody else.

So you are fine with breakign the law then. Its a good thing your opinion is not listened to then isnt it?

Trump can call the man rosenstein resigned to and ask him under oath and then accept his resignation through him legally if i remember.

No point discussing reality there...
To all but the most unaccepting of the reality we live in, it's very clear that the threat of releasing the documents has accelerated the demise of those in the deep state determined to go against the electorate.

It was a trap!

But will trump fall for it and fire rod?

Maybe Sessions.

He said that Sessions hired Rod.

President Trump on Sunday shifted his focus to Attorney General Jeff Sessions when asked about a report that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein proposed secretly recording the president and recruiting Cabinet officials to invoke the 25th Amendment.

"He was hired by Jeff Sessions," Trump told Geraldo Rivera in an interview with "The Geraldo Show" on WTAM radio, according to Fox News.
The Hill

Sessions apparently on his way to Washington. Questionable source? the state?

Take all of the above with blocks of salt.

If Trump fires RR, then he will need to declassify the FISA docs to prove him right.

He should be charged with sedition, along with the others involved.

Surreptitiously recording someone is not sedition, although in certain jurisdictions it is illegal without that person's consent which it isn't in D.C.

I think it is illegal to record the POTUS. It seems like I read it in some law, but until I find it I will just say I think....

It might be that fight has not been made yet. It would fall under executive privileges. What cohen did was illegal he violated his clients rights. Ammarossa is a maybe Trump has the option to drag her to court and make an argument his conversation is covered under executive privledges. In fact im not sure why he hasnt make her spend money on a lawyer case could drag on for years.

I'm indifferent either way. At the end of the day I won't be affected, neither will most people.

Knowing Trump's style, I predict it might go like this:
1 - Fire Rosenstein.
2 - Give Dems and the media a day to freak out.
3 - Complete the declassification of the FISA documents.
4 - Crickets, and much OMG'ing

nahh.. I guess not. They will never admit they are wrong, even when confronted with evidence.

The speculation is Trump played the "enemy of Sessions" card to keep the opposition supporting Sessions. Which they did.

If Sessions' gonna be the executioner of this one, no one's gonna complain.

Well, no one but the hypocrites.

Because the left will push hard to impeach him under obstruction of justice.

And the FISA docs will prove the Russian scam was rigged.

I half-heard a snippet on CNN that it is possible the Trump will fire Sessions, and the RR will take over. They are waiting for Sessions to return from AL.

Speculation at this point.

Has he ever been wrong ? I don’t see how a legal opinion could be submitted without all the evidence .

Let’s review our discussion.

You claimed my position on the 25th amendment was wrong. I showed you the exact wording in the constitution

Then you claimed Rosenstein’s actions didn’t fall under the US code for seditious conspiracy. I showed you it did by definition .

Then you presented a new topic that neither of them could be prosecuted .

I never brought that up you did.

This is also known as moving the goalposts. I would’ve probably let most it slide if it wasn’t for your condescending attitude.

Now I expect you will reply to my comment asking has Alan Dershowitz has ever been wrong.

So I’m pretty much done with this conversation.

Have a nice day .

The left can push as hard as they want - they don't have the votes in the House, never mind 2/3 vote in the Senate to actually remove him. Trump getting impeached will give a massive boost in the 2020 election if he decides to run. Expect those declassified documents to be revealed at a later time. The threat has been enough to cause panic, so it's a tool worth keeping in the back pocket for now.

Agreed. Either way we are in for some surprises though.
