watching the senate ignore the "high powered" lawyer would be really really funny

It's a losing strategy to ignore it.

That just leaves Aventatti and others to go full public without being challenged by the Judiciary Committee and hang there refusal to even hear evidence and testimony around the neck of GOP senators, Trump et al. during an election season.

You might say who cares, but that is because you are far right. The more moderate GOP Public cares (especially women) and the GOP needs them in November to survive.

They are going to have to either hear Aventatti out or withdrawl Kavenaugh.

having it all come out in the days after they confirm him is very, very bad for the GOP politically.

All they have to do is completely discredit Ford....if the others see what happens to her they will be a LOT less willing to lie.....or "tell their truth" as they seem to like to say.

That is one of the funniest things I have ever heard by the way....someone telling "their truth".

I agree. It is like "alternative facts" or "truth isn't truth".

Weird that you were the one to say it and then seemed surprised it was said?

The truth always comes out and wins in the end.

You seem to be suggesting a strategy of battering witness number one badly enough where other witnesses will be afraid to testify.

Apart from the ethical considerations of that strategy, I don't think it would help the GOP.

Oh...I am looking forward to it.

Now....when she cancels her appearance this time, will you still believe?

If she doesnt and actually testifies under oath and is caught in a lie, will you support having the book thrown at her?

If she has some evidence of Kav doing what she said and he is caught in a lie, I am happy to throw the book at him too.

I am just giddy with excitement to watch this unfold....and yes....I do think those pushing these women to make up stories should understand the effect it has on those who actually had real sexual harassment happen to them. And they should be ashamed publicly for lying for political reasons. It is sickening but very trainwrecky.....I cant stop watching as this one goes down in flames.

Already so many holes and absolutely no evidence...just claims of very shoddy memories.

Mark my words here people. When the latest smear jobs dont work the Democrats will pull out the most important card.

The race card.

Book it. By Wednesday the Dems will present evidence from an unknown person that heard Kav use a racial slur in college. This person wont want to come forward because of the "toxic" environment that the Republicans created but they'll have a signed statement proving that the racial slur happened.

What for it. Its coming.

The FBI is responsible for conducting background checks on Nominees.

Background checks are not limited to criminally prosecutable activity, time or geography.

Anyone of the millions of Americans that has undergone a basic FBI Background check will explain the same.

Weird that you have built a little lump in your head impenetrable to that basic fact.

Frankly if you believe that NONE of this would have been unearthed by the Feds during 6 background checks its you that has the disability.

It's nice of you to point out your complete and total lack of understanding on the FBI's background check process.

No way they dont catch any of this.

They want the nomination withdrawn. None of these people will show up.

As it is, I want the names of these people. Let's start seeing if the are far left, feminazi activists financed by Soros like the other 2 are.

Surely you would have no problem with this hey?

She has never cancelled an appearance? I don't expect her to cancel her appearance. You seem to be holding out hope.

If she doesnt and actually testifies under oath and is caught in a lie, will you support having the book thrown at her?

Sure, lie under oath and pay the price.

I see no evidence she has pushed to make up any story?
Ditto with the other accusers.

No doubt it is a political process, thus all of this gets politicized, but that doesn't mean she and the other accusers aren't telling the truth.

I think you consume too much right wing prop.

I am confused. I thought the FBI didn't investigate these kinds of things in BG checks? Now you are saying they would have discovered it in previous background checks?

Which is it?

With no cooroborating witnesses and no facts to remember it sure is a heck of a good reason to be very suspicious of Ford. To top that off she is a Trump hater and has a top Soros lawyer that defending her. This thing smells worse than a landfill. It reeks of abusing Kavanaughs appt to get back at Trump!

The most likely outcome is there is no way to prove if she is telling the truth or lying definitively.

So that means no charges will be able to be pressed against either side.

In a court of law the burden of proof is on the accuser.

In a lawsuit, the accuser would have to present actual evidence...if not they could be found guilty of defamation of character.

Both Kavanaugh and Judge have grounds to successfully sue Ford, if they so choose.

The creepy porn lawyer is also vulnerable.

I agree with you Kavanaugh should file lawsuits especially, if for some crazy reason, it prevents his confirmation. Then he has a legitimate case to bring forth.

With that being said can you imagine the stance Kavanaugh is going to take on any and all cases he presides over where something of this nature is part of said case? He is going to rewrite libel and defamation laws.

says you
the msm just all jumped on farrow for his "story" from this weekend
you think they like "the high powered" lawyer any better?

Why would I care who the MSM (Fox being the ratings leader) likes?

That is another symptom of the Far Right echo chamber. Projection.
Only a small segment of the left (mostly 16-24) has any measurable trust in MSM. Fox News has done a good job of shedding credibility for news outlets in general.
Most on the left are concerned facts, evidence and logic (things were were taught in commie college)
That is why the left use fact checking sites and examines reality on their own rather than just consumes what MSM (aka Fox and similar) tell them.
Not everyone gobbles down every pile of BS the orange oaf and his minions in MSM media feed them.

That just leaves Aventatti and others to go full public without being challenged by the Judiciary Committee and hang there refusal to even hear evidence and testimony around the neck of GOP senators, Trump et al. during an election season.

oh please before the midterms call the people deplorable again
i would wager your "high powered" lawyer is not as well liked as you imagine
bet the dnc doesnt want him to define the midterms

The fact you seem to think the truth pivots on how "well liked" someone is both very sad and very insightful.

I don't need to "like" someone to evaluate the veracity of what they are saying or their clients claims.

Likable people lie all the time and unlikable people speak truths daily.
Sad I have to explain that to someone.

SCOTUS Justices don't get dogged. They are lifetime appointments. Just ask Clarence Thomas about how much Anita Hill effect his career.

You remember it, don't you? It's been almost 30 years and I would bet that this is still what the average person remembers most about him when they hear his name.

Yes and who cares? He doesn't. Supreme Court Justices virtually are accountable to no one.

The concept that Anita Hill somehow "blemished" his resume is silly. He has a lifetime appointment, can't be fired, is treated as a demi-god of our Justice System along with the other SCOTUS Justices.

Have you seen the recent revelations Kavenaugh's yearbook.

He and 9 other football players have "Renate Alumnius" in their achievements section.

The woman they were referring to just learned about it last night and is not happy.

Sounds like Aventatti might be on to something.

www.cnn.com...

Have you figured out what Kavenaugh meant by FFFFFourth of July in the yearbook?
Or his reference to Devils Triangle?
Or Boofing?
heavy.com...

The broadcast network stations are the MSM viewership leaders.

The BIG3+1 (ABC, CBS, NBC, +PBS)

10x more viewers.

Get your facts straight before spouting BS.

Right.
