Easy because a lot of republicans would turn their backs on trump..

See sessions was trumps first elected supporter and has been totally loyal to trump even throughout trumps bashing of him.

If trump turns on sessions , who will he not turn on???

Why would the rest of the republicans think trump would be loyal to them????

Plus sessions is likely the only thing stopping trump and co from getting felony charges..

Because trump has been openly begging sessions to open investigations into Obama and the clintons when republicans have already spent years investigating them. So if there was ANY evidence of criminal activity Trump would have already used it.

That would likely make the investigations a felony because they alreay know there isn’t any evidence of illegal activities...and KNOWINGLY using the FBI to fraudulently investigate your political opponents is almost certainly a felony.

Sessions isn’t willing to risk his own career and freedom to help trump deflect some of the negative news coverage.

Trump knows what he's doing.

Just like the tweets towards little Kim turned out to have some result.

This is a chess game.

My take on Sessions is this:

1. Trump attacks him on social media so everyone sees it.
2. Automatically, Democrats are their best friends and defenders.
3. Then when SHTF and Rosenstein needs to go, Sessions will be the executioner.
4. Democrats won't be able to complain because they thought Sessions was their friend.

Just my 20 cents.

Of course Trump doesn't have an AG. The AG doesn't serve to protect the President. It serves to protect the American people. America has an AG. Trump needs to get it through his head that the Presidency isn't a Kingship.

I still don't like the guy, but that is what an AG does. An AG doesn't protect the President; they protect Americans through equal enforcement of the law.
