Remember to check under your bed at night for those scary globalists.

No need, they are everywhere, even here on ATS.

And they aren't scary, just evil pricks that will eventually get what they deserve.

And what exactly is it they deserve?

Whatever is coming for them. Not for me to decide, unless they invade my home, then I'll take as many of them with me as I can.

Perfect opportunity to visit parts of the UK I've never been to.
Hoping to spend some time down Devon/Cornwall way - maybe catch up with our auld mate CCG - and maybe get passed Glasgow and all its attractions in Scotland.

Regrettably I've cancelled a visit to Kerry with my Dad and my brother.

Hours??

Non, Je ne regrette rien.

Well as much as I dislike the monarchy

Queen Elizabeth has given royal assent to Scotlands referendums bill 2020

Scotlands referendums bill 2020

Now Scotland can legally hold a referendum as it pleases

I've always wanted to go down that way, just never got round to it.

I was hoping to make a full week of a Scooter Rally in Exmouth but life things got in the way and I've always wanted to go to Beautiful Days.....maybe this year I'll finally make it.

Shame the next time you fancy coming any where down here there maybe those 'hours' long queues waiting for you before entry.

11 bells tomorrow night a double celebration: Brexit and my last ever shift on a door!

Yeah mate.....I'm too old for that nonsense nowadays.
A mate of mine asked me to work Friday night in his pub for him as a favour. We were at the funeral of a mutual friend of ours at the time, a friend who taught me a lot when I first started doing doors.
It got me thinking a bit.....I only do it on the odd occasion anyway nowadays and its just becoming too much of a chew on.

So it'll be a double celebration; Brexit....I honestly thought it would never happen.

A 'few' beers and a lot of craic with good mates.

End of an era then on two accounts, well I'm sure you will have really gid doorman stories and annecdotes to tell.

Sorry to hear about your friend , I bet you gave them a right gid send off.

Brexit " I honestly thought it would never happen" seems like the more appropriate campaign slogan eh hahaha

Hope you enjoy your beer and gid craic

One of the guys I work in the same building as was one of these doormen and tells many a good story. Turned 60 now says he's too old for it. Even got banged up for going a bit far with securing the doors when dealing with one naughty drunk. Says they came at him with knives bottles and it's all in a nights work. Total respect to anyone who can do such a brave job with the dick head youth out there

We have still got 11 months of transition period left where we are to all intents still in the EU.

Plenty of time for them to go to Europe and complain about the food and speak really loudly and slowly in order to be understood.

Get brexit done and all that...

Lots of great stories mate, most not really suitable for ATS.
Hopefully get to tell you a few of them in person one day over a few pints.

Absolutely loads of people there.
The man was a legend up here.....I got to meet Charlie Kray a couple of times through him!

Brexit " I honestly thought it would never happen" seems like the more appropriate campaign slogan eh hahaha

If we work together in order to move this great country of ours forward it could be the dawn of a great era.
Ever the optimist.....despite 54 years of being treated like the arse end of the UK. lol.

Hope you enjoy your beer and gid craic

I most definitely will mate.....and just to get warmed up I'm going to the pub very soon to get some practice in!

No. Brexiteers like to spend their holidays in Britain, watching the French onion-sellers on their bicycles.

hahaha stop haiverin pish

Britains all love to go on holiday to Europe , its just the ones who cant afford to that stay in britian in the holiday and park sites up and down the Isles.

Oh , I guess the majority will be having holidays in the UK now since we probably cant afford a holiday

I have a stag do in Benidorm in August , its the first holiday ive been on abroad since I went to belgium for a graffiti festival but that wasnt really a holiday just a weekend break
and before that was 7 years ago at my friends wedding in Ibiza

holidays are far too expensive now
they basically get you into debt

I wish they would put tall ships back into business and give cheap trips around the world for work exchange on board the ship.
rather than a £5000 cruise

what the # happened to us ?
