Still no one giving an actual reason against a second referendum.

I'll give you a reason ...... Because of the EU stance of trying to hang on to the

UK and squeeze as much money out of them that they can, they are wasting

time ..... that needs to be spent on what they were voted into government to

do for the UK.....GOVERNING!!

Time that can be used on MUKGA.

The schedule for leaving has been set by the UK. Want to try again?

Then let's give them the opportunity to do so. No downside.

And what exactly would that achieve?

Too much time has already been wasted ......LEAVE has already won.

It would check that leave is actually what the majority of people want when we actually know the terms of leaving.

You know, that democracy thing.

That democracy thing has already happened..... a few like yourself seem unaware

of that fact.

It happened on a level playing field everyone was privy to the same information

and drew on their own conclusions, as is done in all walks of life, and as in life

some people are more savvy than others .

edit on 22-9-2018 by eletheia because: (no reason given)

That's tue as some people actually seemed to believe leaving would be straight forward. Clearly not very savvy.

You got any reason you can give not to have a second referendum?

Scared of leaving the eu though. You will do anything to keep that gimp mask on so your betters will look after you.

Gimp mask is strictly Thursday's by appointment. Don't pretend you didn't know that already....

Can you supply a valid reason for overturning the 1st one? you not liking the result
doesn't count!

I cant think of any reason for having a 2nd vote before the 1st one has even been actioned properly.

Wait and see how it goes and then have another to rejoin or not.

Because if the majority of people don't want to leave now we shouldn't. Regardless of what any previous referendum said.

There is no valid reason for not having a second referendum.

.. But the only thing we have to go on, on wether or not the people
want to leave, is the referendum from June2016!

Same as any election... you vote you get a result.

I can't understand how some of you think the 1st vote
doesn't count.

I any other vote wether it's a college student body voting for a chair,
or a General Election to vote in a National Government... the result is binding.

I don't like the Tory party that much... but they won and that's that.. I'll get another crack 2020.

The only Votes in recent times that seem to get reversed is EU referendums.. Look it up for yourself if you think m fibbing. You cannot leave the EU... Britain will be lucky to get away. unelected undemocratic
tyrannical body of failed politicians ... living the dream while the rest of us scrape by...

Can i ask you why you would like to stay in the EU?

You'd need to be a few sandwiches short of a picnic if you believed the EU would

let the second largest financial contributer go without a fight.

They also have to discourage the other countries chomping at the bit to leave the

EU that they will have a fight on their hands.

You obviously dont read your replies? I answered that on the previous page.

You have a reason that was clearly false as the time scale for leaving has been set by the UK government.

Besides which it was a reason you want to leave, not a reason.for not having another referendum.

Fair play, that gave me a chuckle.

You can't deny the EU is dragging their heels..... negotiations are a two way

thing. One cannot negotiate on their own

TM presented them a deal which they declined.....but offered no alternative,

must be like talking to a brick wall.

It is not possible to have ANOTHER

Before you have executed the first

Putting stuff in bold doesn't make it true. Of course it's possible to have another referendum before leaving the EU.

The act of you buying a drink is separate from the act of me having one. Just like having a referendum on leaving the EU is separate from the act of leaving the EU.

It's obviously wrong to say we can't have another referendum until after we have left.

I try to minimize my participation in this thread because I don't want to be one of those people that tell other people how to run their countries, but ...

Shouldn't you honor the first referendum before you have a second? If your not going to follow through on the first referendum, why should anyone expect a follow through on the second?

Because the whole point of the referendum was to see if the majority of people wanted to leave. If that is no longer the case why should we still leave based on a result from 3 years earlier?
