The Special Council was appointed to look into Trump Russia collusion. This was never a secret. How is he not the defendant? The charge against him, the only reason for the investigation is Collusion. If they had no charge to bring against him and no evidence then why appoint the special council in the first place?

Because defendants are people on trial. It is literally a pre-req for you to be on trial in a criminal or civil case to be a defendant. Don't twist words' definitions to suit your needs.

If Trump can prove hy the declassification of documents that the appointment of a special council was a violation of his and others 4th amendment rights why would you be against transparency.

That's actually what the Appeals courts are for.

I keep hearing that Trump is cherry picking. How the hell does anyone come to that conclusion. Trump is saying Declasify Everything they have that lead to the appointment of a Special Council while the intelligence community is saying we can only declasify portions.

Because he did cherry pick the things to be declassified
Review underway after Trump declassified documents related to the early days of the FBI's Russia probe

According to the statement, Trump declassified 21 pages of the 101-page June 2017 application to renew a warrant obtained under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA, to monitor the communications of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in 2016.

Those pages only make up a small part of the 412 pages of FISA applications and court orders related to Page released by the FBI earlier this year in heavily redacted format.

21 pages out of a total of 412 pages is only 5% of the total pages. Heck it's not even a quarter of the June 2017 application to renew the warrant.

One side is being open because he believes he committed no ceimes. The other side is cherry picking to hide their crimes. The Intelligent community is the only side cherry picking.

If Trump believes he committed no crimes then he should have no issue with the investigation carrying on as is and letting the cards fall where they do. Because, again, if he committed no crimes then he'll be vindicated in the end.

If this same thing was happening to someone on the left you would be outraged. You are blinded by your bias. A year ago I could understand supporting the circus investigation. At this point it's simply delusional.

Enjoy your support of the circus. I prefer we stop wasting tax payer money and put the real criminals in jail.

I want you to sign away your rights and let government search anything you own any time as well as monitor all your communications and those of every one you know because if you did nothing wrong you don't need to worry.

It's still confusing to me that you guys continue to support someone, who after two years in office, is so dumb he still doesn't understand the function of the DOJ.

This is called a strawman argument not to mention it is an ad hominem attack.

Paul Manafort IS going to jail thanks to this investigation. He's a criminal. Michael Flynn is also a criminal, though he flipped, but that doesn't mean he won't see jail time either.

So, another bombshell?

Lol.

Maybe if 10 more redacted reports are issued Obama will go to jail and Trump will be vindicated!

I’m curious at what point people will realize they’re being taken for a ride. 10 reports? 20 memos? What’s the magic number?

How many times do you have to get played before you realize what you’re looking at?

Kind of like wasting time and resources to find dirt on Trump?

Wanna go for a ride.

Trying to find dirt on Trump is like trying to find a blue sky on a sunny day.

Yet after all this time nothing.

With Trump it isn’t whether or not there’s dirt, a day researching his business ties on the internet is enough to bring that to light.

The problem lies in finding dirt that people will actually care about. The Donald Trump administration has normalized corruption to the point that it’s going to take something big for people to stand up and take notice.

Keep telling yourself that, if there was dirt it would have been found by now, the most vetted president in history and nothing.
Lol.

Confusing to me that you all still support a past president that weaponized the intel community to spy on his opponent

That leads right back to the initial premise, every 4 years you tools get played and you line up and beg for more.

The Special Council was appointed to look into Trump Russia collusion.

If you take note of the mandate, it goes:
~ The Russian government's efforts to interfere in the election
~ Any links or co-ordination between Russia and Trump campaign-linked individuals
~ Any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation
plus 28 CFR 600.4, so it goes where the evidence (kindly provided by those who flip) takes them.

The entire idea seems to be for Trump to try to release anything he can to the right wing media so they can tear it apart out of context and spin things to make the Deep State look real and vindicate Trump. It's a fishing expedition disguised as transparency.

And this is from the guy that promised to release his tax records but for some reason (cough...moneylaundering...cough) has not seen fit to pony-up.
Oh well, in the words of the Prophet...

again with this. Intelligence is gone. I'm just glad that the federal investigation into Donald J. Trump doesn't have the authority to look into his financial history. Why, if that guy Mueller wasn't so inept and such a doofus, he could try to look into stuff like that. Lucky for Trump, they just really are that stupid.......or, perhaps it's you.

Maybe check out the mandate? (see above post). I think it's broad enough.

Sure thing...after all, this is a thread about transparency! What does mentioning the promised revealing of his tax records have to do with presidents and transparency?
Those contortions at all rough on y'all?

It's really sad watching the left right now. Lol.

And also funny at the same time. But mostly sad.

You guys are being played big time and don't even know it. Some do but still chooses to stay in the game.

Don't get me wrong, the right is being played as well, it's all 523D chess in DC. Thing is, the left is absolutely making a fool of themselves with all the pornstars, investigations about foreign meddle in election that in 2 years resulted in Facebook Memes, fiscal tax frauds, "anonymous sources" pushed by the MSM to say Trump's bad! very bad! and... I guess that's it. Now we're seeing a woman falsely accusing a SC nominee of sexual assault just to delay a nomination.

It's really pathetic and that's the reason I stopped supporting Obama and the Democratic party.

ETA: #walkaway

It will make you feel better.
