Not gonna happen. They won't delay things.

The FBI HAS done a background check.

Dems think they can stop things.

They have bigger problems with the Declassified Documents about to hit.

Dems are holding on because they think they will retake the Senate. All the published polls say so.

What evidence can be collected 40 yrs after a supposed “inappropriate” moment? Hearsay, he said vs she said?

Flake and Corker will vote 'no' in that case. I doubt any Dems are going to vote for him. They vote in lockstep. There's not an independent mind among them.

The American People see what this is. They will remember Nov. 6th. It is going to backfire on the Democrats big league.

All true but I’m telling you that if two FBI agents try to begin their investigation by taking her statement you will never hear from the lovely professor again. Plus, the Left will have nothing legitimate to gripe about in this regard.

Drag this out as long as possible....

...even though the FBI declined the investigate.

LMAO

Did the FBI decline?

Or were they ever asked?

The POTUS, if he was really concerned about nominating a SCOTUS of character, and not just a potential political lackey, could even Direct the FBI to investigate the allegation.

The FBI would then be obligated to open an official investigation, or explain their decision.

The only word that comes to mind is pathetic. And now Feinstein doubts her too? The FBI said there’s nothing they can do, they don’t have a time machine( that’s the cia) and this is a job for local police. It’s he said, she said nothing more and Kavanaugh will be sworn in

Fine, just have the accuser begin by signing a sworn statement to the FBI. Just to make things on the up and up and to put her officially on record. Perjury is a felony.

Just as soon as the accused signs a sworn statement attesting to his innocence.

Goose, gander, sauce.

she WONT SIGN a statement...cmon
its a feggin political hitjob

No statement? Great, FBI releases a PR that says that the accuser refused to confirm her allegation so the case is closed. End of story.

I demand that the accuser produces the one-piece swim suit worn when the crime was committed. If the swim suit dont fit, you must acquit.

I was going to go a different direction with this, but fine, lets say trump does what you suggest.

lets say then that it takes a month, and the FBI concludes that they have no proof kavanugh did this.

Whats to stop another woman from them coming forward?

Then I guess trump will have to direct the fbi to investigate again, or else he doesnt care about sexual abuse. or nominating a person of character

And rinse and repeat.

Then maybe after 2 years, the dems can get a president and they can fill the seat.

But then again, whats to stop republicans from finding their own accusers?

Thus the never ending vacancies begin as the incentive has been set that investigations must delay conformations anytime there is an accusation, even if it is decades old.

That’s not how the justice system works in America. If you what the FBI to investigate something you must be willing to make a sworn statement.

BTW, the good judge is already on the record officially denying the claim.

Has nothing to do with wild fowl.

Well this is odd, here is a story that says she has moved
out of her home with her two teenage children.

Of course, she is blaming it on threats....this makes
no sense whatsoever. If she was really worried she would not drag
her teenage children with her.

An unnamed source told the Times that following the threats, Ford and her two teenaged children moved out of their home

www.thecut.com...

Also read something yesterday about her male confidant that
she hung out at the beach with.

Gensheimer said he became friends with Blasey Ford about eight years ago. While their kids participated in the Santa Cruz State Junior Lifeguard program, which teaches water safety and other aquatic skills, he would often swim around the end of the pier, and Blasey Ford would paddle her surfboard nearby. “She would be my shark spotter,”
he said.

While the two shared career and family advice over the years, Blasey Ford also confided in him twice this summer about whether and how to tell her story, he said. They were on the beach when she first told him about having sent a letter about the alleged assault to her congresswoman, Anna Eshoo, and that she had left an anonymous tip on a Washington Post hotline Santa Cruz Sentinal

A big Hmmmmm

Sounds like that couples counseling may not have worked.....I have a feeling she is very similar to those we saw being taken out of the Kavanaugh hearings....I have a VERY hard time believing anyone would want to be with that forever.....

Yes, good observations.

The last article sure portrays her as being close to that beach dude.

Maybe her husband didn't like that either....

The FBI should investigate Kavanaugh's entire history, tax records, and personal contacts.

Just like anyone applying for a job in Law enforcement.

As has been pointed out Kavanaugh has been vetted and hyper-scrutinized to boot.

Informed opinions and critical thinking sure isn't a strong suit with many of the leftists here. At least not when it comes to the current topics some of y'all weigh in on.

Seriously LOL that sounded like something David Hogg would say LOL

So she wont testify under oath because she wants the FBI to investigate, even though the FBI already declined to investigate. Sure, nothing stinks here. Seems perfectly legit.

IF there was anything to this claim, why on earth (since we now all know her name AND the supposed story) would she not want to testify to it and confirm her story, and in doing so block the nomination?

They need to just come out tomorrow and say we are going ahead with the vote on Thursday as originally planned

First, they need to make sure all Republicans are onboard, or his confirmation will not make it to the full Senate.
