No offense, but it is really funny to me to try to have a discussion on basic economics with someone who thinks that taking money out of people's pockets (taxation) means that now they have more money to spend (we are a consumer-based economy.)

An ideology that thinks taxing companies more will make them stay.

A person that cannot comprehend that decreasing taxes in the USA means bigger tax revenues for the government. (Go find that chart, please.)

"Free" isn't my wording, it's the mantra that the Socialist agenda chants over and over again. Realistically, nothing is free as those with the money are footing the bill.

And for the bottom dwellers, it is pretty much free because they produce nothing and thus have nothing taken from them. They receive from those who have produced and either must decide to produce only enough to the point where they start to lose or not at all or keep working their fingers to the bone to produce enough to satisfy both their own needs, those of the state and then attempt to enjoy a bit extra to make life tolerable. Of course, as soon as they do that, those who do not produce call them greedy and demand the state take that too in order to provide something else for "free."
