What the heck is going on with the media? It seems they care more about the "WOW Factor" and ratings than they do about the Truth.
This has been going on for YEARS.
Here we have CNN's Anderson Cooper and film crew staging a scene after Hurricane Ike in 2008:

He is standing in a ditch to make the flooding seem a lot worse than it actually was.

Then during Hurricane Florence we had long time Meteorologist and Reporter Mike Seidel, form the Weather Channel, putting on an act as pedestrians calmly walk down the street behind him.
Video
The Weather Channel tried to defend his actions but their response just made it worse:

“It’s important to note that the two individuals in the background are walking on concrete, and Mike Seidel is trying to maintain his footing on wet grass, after reporting on-air until 1:00 a.m. ET this morning and is undoubtedly exhausted,” the network said.

thehill.com...
If he would stop moving around so much he probably would not be so "exhausted".

So ATS, If they will exaggerate and lie about something like this, what else will they lie to us about?
Do you have any examples? I would like to see what we can dig up.

Why would you trust anything they try to tell you after seeing how they even sensationalize the weather?

Hell, they report the scary war safe from their sound stage.

I've written a couple threads recently asking why anyone still watches network news. It boggles me that anyone can continue to trust known habitual liars.

I'm going to quote one of my recent posts that sums up how I feel about network news: "It has mutated into one of the most evil things humanity has ever created--a form of destructive indoctrination posing as an unbiased educational resource."

Honestly?
I do not believe anything they put out. I have to research it and find some form of truth for myself. This thread is mostly for those that still believe the crap they are spoon fed from the MSM.

I think they had to call her out on the air. IF they didn't, it would just make them look equally stupid as well. Saving face doesn't mean they were doing the right thing

An easier way to look at it is- WHAT IS THE TRUTH. What do we actually, and utterly know is true, because we can fact check it without much trouble?

We should NOT HAVE TO FACT CHECK EVERYTHING.

Never said they were doing the right thing, I distrust all media. Especially with the new tech out there called Deep Fake look like you did or said something you never did. Scary world

This can make your entire body look like it did something you never did

My fear is this:
Let's say a real video or audio comes out incriminating someone.
This can also be used as a defense.
They can say it is/was not real but generated.
