Since the beginning of the Oslo process Israel has allowed another 90,000 Palestinians to gain residence in PA-controlled territory.

Allowing them to return to the West Bank and Gaza is not the same as allowing them to return to the Area they lived in before the partition.

Semantics...

Question AceofBase:
When the lines are drawn for the nation of Palestine, will they and you still be supporting and chanting "right of return"?

After Israel's founding, he writes, Zionism "transformed those who remained inside Israel into foreigners in their own land and, from 1948 until 1966, subjected them to life under a military, racialist system of rule that was reminiscent of the life of European Jews under the worst types of anti-Semitic rule." The Nazis, he argues, serve as "pedagogical model" for the Israeli army."

This is a remarkable example of why the "left' needs to be driven out of acedemics. Revisonist history is a conspiracy.................

Revisionism is an important factor of history because it tries to 'revise' the inconsistencies and conclusions that were drawn by previous historians in previous times that would of affected their judgement and prejudice. Challenging long-held thoughts and beliefs that revisionism does is important to history IMO.

I grow tired of how everyone you disagree with is the 'left' or 'liberal', I am sure there are plenty of good conservatives and libertarians out there that would too. You just can't put people in different camps like that

Are you even aware what semantics means, JADESTONE?
They are arguing semantics.
Why?
Cause it has been argued to death here in ATS and among the world.
Sides were drawn then, as they are still being drawn today.
The future holds a Paletinian state. Being that it will be the case, the question of "right of return" would then be null-in-void once the national lines of the Palestinian state are agreed upon and layed forth, would it not?
If not, then my next question is will the terrorist organizations that have been attacking Israel through Palestine and with the Palestinians still continue to attack Israel? Will the creedo, motto, and idealogy of the literal destruction of Israel cease or will it too continue on?

That's a fair question Seeker, I'll have to answer yes to that question.
Israel should allow persons to immigrate into those areas that they once lived in. The new state of Palestine will be much smaller than the state proposed by the UN in 1947 and significantly smaller than the one proposed in the 1937 Peel report, which the Zionist Congress unanimously rejected.
