Worldwide mass cow-tipping event. Spilled milk everywhere.

But seriously, asteroid impacts are a worry. And technically a natural event could be when our Sun expands.

A near by star going super nova and creating a gamma ray burst.
If one hit earth,no life would be safe,no 3 mile deep bunker would protect you,as the gamma rays would penetrate the entire globe.
First the sky would change dusty brown as the upper atmosphere boiled off,you would taste a metallic taste in your mouth as your cells begin to pop, then would die in agony and blind as your organs shut down and your skin sloughed off.

And the best thing?
There is NO defence, and one may have even happened already and the gamma rays already on their merry way to earth.

Some good thoughts. Wouldnt a super volcani hold enough lava to cover the globe?

The pandemic is interesting but it would be man nade not natural?

It wouldn't need to cover the Earth with lava, just enough ash in the stratosphere to reflect sunlight back to space and cause a "nuclear winter". Meteorite strike reaching ground level would do the same thing.

A CME would be my wager. If electronics are wiped out, humanity would quickly begin to extinguish themselves.

Since our planet is not entirely solid.... Gravitational tidal effects can definitely screw us in ways few else can. Under certain circumstances at least.

Don't know if this counts but I think if the core were to stop spinning, it would really be game over!

if a super volcano gave off a lot of ash it would cause a winter climate darker days for a long time
