So I just read that Youtube has removed SANA channels and other Pro Syrian government news.

This is a very real and dangerous escalation - to silence the official news channels of Syria feels like the heats about to be turned up on Assad

Doing a quick search on youtube, I definately cannot find anything to do with SANA any more

www.aljazeera.com...

YouTube has suspended the accounts of at least three media outlets run by the Syrian government, weeks after a report claimed the channels were violating US sanctions and generating revenue from ads.

The video streaming giant appeared to suspend the accounts of Syria's public international news organisation, SANA, the Ministry of Defence and the Syrian Presidency.

You can’t be a virtual monopoly and decide what is okay for others to watch. If they were just another website it wouldn’t be a big deal, but with their status as the main video forum of the internet they shouldn’t be able to pick and choose what we are allowed to see. It is dangerous and runs contrary to the needs of an open and free society.

Well you should get right on this then. Tell YT that they are wrong...according to you. That should set things right.

Perhaps in preparation for this?

They did this ahead of the planned false flag chemical attack that's going to be blamed on Assad. Actors are already being filmed. TPTB don't want the public to know, hence Youtube shutting down these channels.

Few things are more entertaining with coffee in the morning than Russian propaganda.

Will they let us know when we can see the "footage" of this staged production?

Do what you're good at, right? Which in their case is crank out awesome propaganda and imbibe vodka to liver-replacement levels of consumption.

Youtube is the new public forum, thus 1st amendment rights should apply.

Except it's not the government so it doesn't.

And how would Syria get First Amendment rights even if they did, for some communist reason, apply?

Major financial contributions to the Clinton foundation and DNC might help them.

There are other channels that cover the Syrian conflict, such as step news, orient's news, Anna news, syrianTV, r&u videos, South front, etc..
They only blocked the official Syrian government backed news. When I get back home I will link some resources for you. Some of them are not in English though so I run them through translation to read it. I will link both.

The Russians have RT and the best trolls and hackers in the world. They don't need YouTube.

People should care.

You mean like not getting access to a business' washroom because it's "employee's only"?
