I call bull crap on the Man-made fiction with all his fear and fallibility at play.

The invisible anthropomorphized schizophrenic sky god is after all rather late for his own party.

One day, a human will say to our future Artificial Intelligence overlords, "AI Moderators, if I'm not in the right category, please feel free to move me.

And they will. To the extinct category. And that'll be the end of it.

I think this is the funniest thing I've ever read.

Don't know whether its optimism as such an event would somewhat change our race in ways we could not hope to fathom.

Next epoch it is then.

There will always be the argument about those that were taken up alive but here is what the Orthodox teachings tell us.
orthochristian.com...
In other words Dust to dust, spirit to spirit, what is of the earth will remain of the earth but what is of heaven shall or can be returned to heaven and of course remember the Lord can do anything he wishes nothing is impossible for him to accomplish.

Have you seen many signs that "man-made" truth is too much different from what you claim is man-made fiction?!

Rather less antiquated fiction that the biblical bullcrap through.

Plus science and mathematics offers up far more truth and credible repeatable results than religion any day of the week and twice on Tuesdays.

The information age in which we live, is what it is I'm afraid.

It's not a claim by the way, its a fact, unless of course, you can actually offer up one ounce of credible evidence to suggest the existence of Jesus or even God for that matter.

The Bible shows us that humanity is only capable of making mistake after mistake, and error after error. In my view, that hasn't changed throughout history, so I'm going to believe it!

That's history that shows us our penchant for repetition of past transgressions, not the bible. LoL

Not that we care to pay attention or actually learn anything from history.

The Bible just tell you what to do and how to act, and all for a very specific purpose.

Do you also believe in the Easter Bunny and Toothfairy?

Because there is about as much evidence to suggest the veracity of there existence as that of Jesus I'm afraid.

Have you ever asked yourself how people back then knew that's the way it was ALWAYS going to be? Besides the fact that God told them that's the way it was always going to be?

That does not even really make sense.

However, it's not always the way it has been, or is going to be.

Plainly evident really, things change......even the bible.

Consider how much the world has changed in the past century alone and that fact is plainly evident to anyone with an eye to see.

I suspect that humans will never be completely "gone"

Some threads on ATS suggested that a "breakaway Civilization" moved out a few years back.

What if some of these atmospheric Nuclear tests opened up wormholes and we're getting visitors/humans from the future?

Seed banks, Elite building bunkers, billions $ unaccounted for.

In a nutshell, the human race has plans in place, although us mere mortals will not be part of it.

Things change. People don't and never will. We may be able to change our living conditions, but we're horrible at changing ourselves.

Does the Bible not imply everyone can change and receive redemption simply by accepting Jesus?

The basic human paradigm, however, has changed very little throughout recorded history.

Then again technology and the information age, nevermind the subsequent singularity that will ultimately emerge from such will modify said paradigm we follow is ways we cannot yet hope to imagine.

We simply need to face the possibility the Humanity 2.0 is on the horizon, the world spins, after all, and us along with it.

Sorry not take this thread off topic but you are joking right?.

First Century Jewish Christian Church in Jerusalem.

There are amphitheaters throughout the former roman empire stained with the blood of believers whose only crime was to believe in a God that gave them hope and love instead of demanding money and sacrifice for the simple price of loving him and one another, of caring about one another and of helping even those that were not believers.

But of course today many churches demand money and sacrifice while rich pastors buy private jet's, don't mistake them for being christian's, these people whom died for there faith were christian's, men and woman whose name's you will never know were christian's whom laid down there lives for there faith, for there brothers and sisters.
Do you think Marx with his atheist belief's invented socialism, it was Christ who said give the coat you are not using to the man whom has none, go and sell your wealth and help your brothers and sisters.
He was no tooth fairy and the Easter bunny was a pagan belief corrupted into a fairy tale corrupting the meaning of Easter away form it's true christian meaning.

That's not conclusive evidence of anything other than the practice of Christianity.

All religions are fairy tales hence the lack of supporting evidence to suggest otherwise.

And you simply wont find it on YouTube nether i'm afraid. LoL

Nice architecture all the same but no proof.

Yes, but the Bible clearly shows that not enough people will and God will ultimately step in. Unfortunately, when it gets to that point, it gets really ugly.

So how come with all that predestination at play not enough people will receive redemption?

If God has to step in, does that not imply his infallible predestined plan has a few spanners in the works and requires modification? So much for perfect.

Also whats God going to do when Humanity decides to fight back?

You do realise that if the big dude dont turn up before we manage to spawn an AI that can learn at an exponential rate he is going to be rather evenly matched, possibly even outclassed in any coming conflict?
