My Fishing Spot

I am at one of my favorite fishing spots. Been coming here for about 15 years. It's beautiful as there are next to no house or resorts for how much water there is.

Here happens to be the Chippawa Flowage in northern Wisconsin. I will be fishing for muskies,crappies bluegills and whatevers biting.

Will be here for a week away from the evil work place.

This is my first time posting from my phone, hope it turns out ok.
They say we might get a view of the northern lights tonight between 10 and 4.

Yes walleye ,but will be using a jig with a leach.

Yellow mister twister while trolling.

With a spinner. And maybe a leech for good luck. Spit on your hook.

Looks like one of those spots where you could catch 100 fish, or none at all and still be in heaven. I'm truly envious, my friend.

Hope you have a warm sleeping bag, or aren't getting the temps we have here in Mid MI right now. Getting down right nippy at night!
But that could make for some good fishing at least.

Okay so we've got the caravan out here at Lake Chippewa Campground, but the damn gates closed. Guess we'll have to climb in thru the brushwork...

Oh i envy you. That looks like one hellofa spot dude. Makes me miss home (Florida) i had a whole bunch of spots there. I havent found a good one here yet (Iowa).
Please add new pics of fish or anything else interesting as your week goes by so we can drool more and more. Good luck!
