Damn. I didn't see the closed part until it was too late. Oh well xD

Here it is if anyone wants to read it for kicks

I just tried to write at lightspeed to beat my laptop's stupid automatic restart+update thing, and because of that, I didn't give myself enough time to read the rules thread thoroughly. Sorry!

The RESULTS for this months contest "The RELIC" have now been calculated.

So, without further ado:

The Winners are:

And for those reading on small screen devices:

1st zosimov
2nd SprocketUK
3rd LucidWarrior

For the first time (that I can remember...) there were no valid entries from non-writers this month!?!?!?
So we have no results for that section.

Hearty congratulations to zosimov!! (again!! LOL) Sprocket and Lucid, and big thanks to all of our entrants, readers, voters and Mods for keeping the old story-bus rolling along!

Since zosi chose this months theme, the task of choosing the next theme now falls to our runner-up SprocketUK.

Let me know your thoughts via pm Sprocket? (pssst... Halloween.... LOL)

thanks for helping me out fixing the title of my story. twice now. i will try so hard not to do mistakes again. i can't promise though. i made so many mistakes in my last story, that was mainly due to rushing which is no excuse i know

me too, i'm looking forward to all the halloween stories

Just spent some time unplugged with my family on vacation, sorry to be so late to the party!

There were such quality submissions this time around. I truly enjoyed reading everyone's creative and excellent ideas based on the theme.

Loved the cursed objects, interstellar memory collectors, theological themes, coveted heirlooms (sprocket, lol) and sorry if I left yours out but I loved it too (didn't read one I didn't really enjoy).

Oh and thank you so much for reading and so glad you enjoyed my tale!

Good luck to everyone on the next contest, sounds fun.

ETA: I just realized my negligence... a HUGE thank you to our most gracious, inviting, and jovial host Gordi and to Don'tTreadOnMe for keeping the writing contests running smoothly and encouraging such creative endeavors!
