Omg I want one!

I just needed to follow the dogs, and it wasn't today, it was yesterday.

I was working out back when two kids came home from school.
One boy picked up a chunk of dog poo and threw it at his friend. A frozen turd snowball hit him on the back of the jacket, and he didn't even know it was crap that just hit him.

Not having much snow here, the other kid threw a rock back. (He missed)

But it just made me smile as they walked up the block. Two friends having a good time after school.


Being a kid was fun.

Some conversations I had yesterday. They made me smile a lot yesterday and they still have me smiling today thinking about them.

I can understand that. Last week my housemate swallowed a fly. We had some interesting conversations following that.

Me: You won't be wanting any dinner today

H/M: What! Why not?

Me: Well, you've already had that fly....

I got my account working again and I have a few days off of school.

How to stop the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico: Put a toilet down there. Give your son a head from one of your daughter's dolls. He will spontaneously flush it down and the problem is solved. The head will plug up the leak and I saw on the TV that the hair will sop up the oil. Win-win.

Barbie heads flush pretty good. I know that for a fact because I have an older sister.

But what made me smile today ???
I actually had fast and courteous service from a government office when I went to file some papers today.

My client was expecting the paperwork back by Monday at best, but the guy behind the glass was very understanding and pushed the forms though in less than an hour.

I'm walking around with a grin on my face, and a snap in my step.

Government actually works sometimes.

I've made some new friends today and that made me smile.

First of all there is a little sparrow who is a bit bolder than the rest and comes along when I'm putting the bread out and waits for me to throw her a special piece. I really felt a connection today

Then early this evening four black cows, who live in the field at the end of the garden, came over to the fence and, for the first time, let me stroke them. I've been out and spoken to them a couple of times before but today they finally decided to trust me.

Three of them licked me and two allowed me to stroke the back of their heads. I noticed that one of them was keeping her head down and realised that she was actually waiting for me to stroke her again.

Dear cows.
