My brother recently went on holiday to see our dad and various relatives in Ireland, and relayed this story to me today.

His son (Joe, 5) and he were playing in the back yard at my dads, and my bro was throwing Joe up in the air, as you do, and catching him.

"Stop it daddy, I don't like it"

"OK Joe, no problem"

"No daddy, do it one more time, because I have to face my fears"

From a 5 year old.

Priceless

Really? I get the feeling that your ego is doing fine.

Had the day off work and chatted with a friend from the midwest for a bit. She is goofy and always puts a smile on my face.

Talked to my dad today and got psyched up for the Turkey-day tradition of gluttony and family togetherness.

My 3 dogs are so goofy and do such simple, expressive things, that I spent a large portion of the day just laughing at their antics.

Today classifies as a "good day to die".

I woke up today, and *knew* how to make a pie. I didn't know that when I went to sleep.

I hope I wake up tomorrow knowing how to make a flakey crust crosuaint (sp) pie.

Well it wasn' t really today, it was last Sunday.
On E4 was the last episode of the last series (series 2) of Dark Angel.
A special 90 minute episode where the trangenics finally achieved their dreams and they formed a nation of their own with a flag created by Joshua. It made me really happy, but at the same time I will miss watching it.

Yesterday I smiled when the oven apparently broke, but yet the broiler had come on, despite not being set to broil, and the turkey was cooked perfectly just the same.

I'm smiling now thanks to my friend Seagrass, and feeling blessed.
