What made me smile today..

Ok, I take a Cokking class (they call it Nutrition class though) and theres this one malato girl, and she does'nt have any psychological problems, but she says the weirdest things.

Like yesterday she just for no reason announced that a person is generally. suppose to go #2 three times a day.

Anyways, so today she comes in with a salad and chocolate milk carton,
and the teacher tells her she's not supposed to eat in class, so than the
girl go's into this long thing about not getting there to the front of ther
line til the end of lucnh, well normally that would have been fine, but than
she go's on and says she got pushed and kicked by the line, just from her movement, and finally the big closer, she says she got bitten, and she said random stuff and made her comments on everything known all period.

Oh, and when we were all getting up to get magazines for the colage we
were making, I grabbed some magazine, and I have no idea why,
but she says to me "you go boy.".

I had to do everything I could to not fall over laughing all period.

Had a sod of a day, later in the evening a friend sent this:

oldnewsbaby.com

The text that originated this movie was published on May 29, 1990 with the title "State of the Village Report", and it was by Donella Meadows, who passed away in February 2000. Nowadays Sustainability Institute, through Donella's foundation, carries on her ideas and projects. The Miniature Earth project was first published in 2001, since then more than 2 million people have seen this website.

The statistics have been updated based on specialized publications, and mainly reports on the world's population provided by different resources, like UN publications, PRB.org and others. Bear in mind that these are only statistics, and consequently changes might occur after a few months or only after years.

Please see them only as a tendency, and not as accurate.

If the world's population were reduced to 100 it would look something like this. (Click to see Flash directly.)

It made me think about my 'bad day', realise how silly it was to focus on the parts that had caused such anger earlier and offer a wry smile at my own foolishness.

Three things actually.

1. I was called a genius more than five times by a very
attractive girl.

2. Jocks know better than to mess with me.

3. In the last three days the amount I can lift (wieght ligting,
barbells etc.) comfortably has doubled.

I noticed a $1800 dollar deposit from the government today.

It is to pay for my school, but my account looks good for a few days anyhow.

A few things have made me smile today.

1. I got a new flat screen LCD monitor, which I've been meaning
to do for a year.

2. Listening to the Skeptic/ATS review.

3. Watching Bill Clinton go off on a right wing journalist.

Yep, those are what made me smile today.
