The first known omnivore shark, one that prefers eating both plants and meat, has been identified in a study from researchers at the University of California, Irvine and Florida International University.

It's called the bonnethead shark, and its plant of choice is seagrass, according to the study published in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B.

Cool, it seems its diet consist of 60% seaweed, mother nature is always amazing but the real reason I made this thread is because the Simpsons predicted the future again

No. Just no.

That's an offense to other sharks. Sharks = fighter plane flesh eating torpedoes of the underwater world. Which makes them totally awesome in my book.

Shark link

Looks like the missing link between a regular shark and a Hammerhead shark. That would indicate the head has receptors sensitive to electrical and magnetic pulses, so it could detect prey hiding inside the seaweed. Not sensitive enough to detect anything hiding under the ocean bed, but in plant stems.
