Social Security is one of the worst monetary "black holes" (and has been as it was set up to be a personal line of credit for Congress with no payback required)

You're defending Trump's wanting cut backs. I get that. But, this is what Trump is claiming:

“They want to raid Medicare to pay for socialism,” Trump said as the crowd expressed agreement via loud boos.

So, while Trump is calling for deep cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, he's claiming the Dems want to go in and steal funds away, raid, these social programs. That's not a true statement. Dems aren't asking for increases or looking for ways to funnel money out, they're trying to hold back cuts.

Under Obama we were told that 2% was the best we could do (GDP growth). Yet Trump comes along, promises 4% and actually delivers 4.1%

Krazyshot, are you claiming Obama's stagnant economy was anything near Trump's? Our stock markets have been breaking records all year, and our growth is optimistic. Jobs are being brought back into America, putting Americans to work and more corporate money is going into America

Obama's socialist policies were far too expensive for an already far overtaxed and extremely burdened middle class. The middle class can barely afford to live even under the current tax scheme, most can't spare even another penny

Given all the "good ideas" we've seen in the news, Democrats expect the American worker to shell out even more money every 2 weeks in the name of big-government ideologues and feel good programs that benefit everybody but the ones footing the bill.

So far the US economy has continued trends seen under Obama including one of the longest periods of GDP growth in US history.

There is in my view a lot to criticise about Obama economic record, however the idea that Trump has performed an economic miracle isn't supported by the facts.

So far Trump has done a good job on the economy, the bizarre narcissistic need to talk it up into something record breaking however is misplaced.
