Absolutely mental.

Some people think I'm crazy when I go on about the insidious nature of PC and its influence on everyday life.
There we have a clear example of how the interests of the criminal are the priority over those of the victims.

At times I think we have the best judicial system in the world, and other times I think its no longer fit for purpose.
We need a radical overhaul and re-thinking about sentencing and making sure the punishment fits the crime.

On more than one occasion I've benefited from the common sense approach of the British people.

One of the tamer examples;
A guy who'd done time for beasting his own kids started seeing a woman who lived in my street.
He had a panic button placed in the house so not wanting a holiday at Her Majesty's pleasure I had to bide my time.
Finally he overstepped the mark and retribution was indeed swift and brutal, in the middle of the street with all the neighbours watching, claret everywhere.
Police were called and questioned the neighbours etc.
Finally knocked on my door and asked what had happened - obviously I hadn't seen anything, hadn't heard anything and certainly didn't know anything. Copper said that was strange because everyone else in the street said exactly the same thing - there genuinely had been no collusion.
He chuckled to himself, turned around and as he was leaving the house he said "its ok, he's only a nonce".

Point is, most coppers hate paedophiles just as much as we do....but they have to be seen to be enforcing the law.

The problem with coppers is the senior officers, some of whom have been known to be actively involved in paedophile rings along with other leading members of our communities and society.
These officers dictate policies, priorities and initiatives, often in accordance with political directives.

Yes like how the British MSM and Police are keeping a lid on the grooming gangs in the UK? I wouldn't be surprised if the 80,000 paedophiles are somehow from Arab countries or are related to the grooming gangs in question.

Once we say it's ok to allow for thought crimes for one crime, we will have justified it for all crimes. Is that the society we want to leave future generations?

No, I would leave them in society and give them incentives for acting against their natural inclinations. If they do commit crimes, then I'm all for prison. The best way to get people to adhere to societies laws is to include them in that society.

Mainly due to the fear of accusations of racism, fear of reprisal attacks and the influence of the PC Brigade.
There has been a refusal to accept that there is a specific problem within sections of Asian communities.

Sajid Javid seems intent on at least starting the process of acknowledging this and then hopefully starting to address this specific problem.
But unfortunately paedophilia comes in many guises and is far too common.

As said, if you think this is not happening somewhere close to you then you are either incredibly naïve or incredibly stupid....I suspect its the former and not the latter.

Wait till you have weans and see if you do indeed feel the same way. Not trying to condescend, having kids is not hard, what is hard is taking care of such and keeping them away from danger, of which sexual predators are at the top of the list.

Free therapy, preferred status in adult only living communities, education grants to pursue professions that keep them away from kids. That's off the top of my head, I haven't really thought long enough on it to make a full list, but the general idea is mental health and encouragement to self segregate away from kids in private/professional life.

I will never have kids. I may adopt some day, but I plan to be single my whole life and in the US we don't let single people adopt children, so that's probably not happening either.

There are no incentives for me not to steal, and there shouldn't be either - just the law....and a natural law at that.
Same as there should be no incentives not to molest children - just the law....and a natural law at that!

I see your intention but I'd just lock them up as a danger to children, say a quarter of a million folk admitted to wanting to rape kids then your scheme would be expensive.
I'd spend taxes on other things and lock them up for their entire life when caught acting on their urges.
I do see your intentions though, just we'll never find agreement about it.

The OP is about taking down those people who have and/or have committed the crime of having or sharing child porn. It is all about law enforcement arresting them, a judge sentencing them, and the press reporting it on the front page. If not then out the vile pricks.

These subhumans cannot be treated. Its untreatable. Spraying sunshine and rainbows up such mentaly disturbed peoples arses wont change their wiring.

Adopt a kid it will change your whole universe, don't need to be biology at play, as the love for those wee bastards somewhat transcends such barriers. And dont let anyone tell you any different.

My understanding was that if you can provide for the child and support such with a stable loving environment they really don't care whether you are single, pink, purple, fat, square, gay, or 3 legged these days where adoption is concerned.

I mean plenty of single mothers do the job just fine if you think about it, they kind of have to.

Single is cool as well, kids don't just change perspective though, they tear it up and write the book again somewhat.

OMFG. Background checks helped get them out of scouting and teaching. So they moved into charity work like the Oxfam fiasco. I admire your faith in humanity...but it is badly misplaced here.

I have 3 stepkids mysel. I can attest to your emotions. My oldest was attacked in portugal. By attacked of course i mean raped.

That probably colors my hatred for this crap. Being human should not guarantee your right to consume oxygen.
