In late June, White House Press Secretary SARAH SANDERS, along with 7 of her family members, were kicked out of the RED HEN restaurant in Lexington, Virginia by the Owner..SOLEY because she worked for President Donald Trump.

As one would expect, this provocative action generated consequences. Significant and swift financial consequences for the Lexington area, as Sanders/Trump supporters simply stopped coming there for tourism.

The Roanoke Times reported today that a regional tourism board is pulling together emergency funds to boost its digital marketing campaign.

Normally that money is saved. But officials agreed the region is in desperate need of positive coverage.

The tourism board serves Lexington, where The Red Hen is located, and other communities that are about three hours from Washington.

The Red Hen incident in June prompted thousands of a calls and emails to the tourism office.

And they’re still coming in. The office received a letter on Thursday from a Georgia family that wrote to say it would never return because of what happened.

I bet the owners of tourism-dependent businesses in Lexington are pretty angry with Red Hen owner, Stephanie Wilkinson. Maybe the local tourism board can bill Stephanie, or the Red Hen restaurant, for damages.

When companies decide to mix business w/ politics they (more times than not) lose. Companies should act professional, put differences aside and treat each/every customer equally.. Tossing someone out like Sarah Sanders (who was being polite) comes with consequences.. I dont feel bad one bit for this happening.

IMO, there will be many repercussions felt by Democrats on election day, two months from now. Their never-ending acts and words of HATE against Republicans and our President, will elicit a tremendous payback.

That's exactly why the Trump administration cancelled a HUGE $300 million aid package to Pakistan this weekend. This President saw how that country was using us for $$$$, way back when was a candidate.

Well, if all else fails, according to Nancy Pelosi unemployment, food stamps etc actually are good for the economy and creates jobs too.

Thank-you! I've not heard of "In and Out Burgers" before. Dims can't even do a simple burger boycott effectively these days.

I think the last Democrat boycott that worked, was when Jesse Jackson told African Americans to stop buying Budweiser beer, until the company hired more minorities at the St. Louis brewery. I think that was 20 years ago?
