this orange cream soda is the stuff.
ever had it?

whats youre favorite kind of soda?

i only drink diet soda cause of all the sugar but every now and again i pick up something like this and it tastes amazing.

world market has some interesting soda.

different kinds of root beer. maybe a chocolate soda or banana.

but this orange cream is the best.

today we are going to get a couple 1 liter bottles and some vanilla bean ice cream and make some killer floats.

I only drink iced tea @ home but will do pepsi when eating out.

stopped eating desserts a few months ago and now and then I get huge craving for orange or grape soda.

ice cold orange crush...like candy.

I'll try that orange crème if I see.

(ever have an orange milk shake from Arby's? oooooo)

I think Frostop is a regional Midwest brand so I might not have it here in Merryland

Is it made from corn or from roots?

They just don't sell the non corn type where I live.

Looks and sounds delightful. I like Sunkist Orange, but this looks to have an extra little Wow factor. One of my old time favorites was Crush, both in Orange and Pineapple. I especially liked the Pineapple. Good call, and thanks for the recommend alert.

I really didn’t know, so I looked it up. Seems the original root beer used oil from the sassafras root, but sassafras was banned in the U.S. by the FDA due to its carcinogenic effects. Yikes! Now, it’s just artificial sassafras flavor that’s used.

I live in a small town. There is one country supply store that once a year in the spring imports one pallet of Frosty top.
I was in there years ago and they had a few bottles in the cooler and as I was thirsty decided to try it. Wowzzzer.

Now every spring I buy a case and as family and friends come visiting during the summer for a taste of the country life, one of their demands each year is grampa Terry's magical orange floats. And oh yes, not just vanilla, but vanilla bean,

In case you are not up on the exact manner in which to build a float, the soda goes in first. Slowly with the glass tipped to one side so that the soda retains as much fizz as possible.
Then, again slowly, the ice cream is not dropped into the glass but rather carefully slipped into
the soda so it does not ''explode'' . I know this because when I was young I managed an ice cream parlor and my nick name was ''scoop''

Frostop Root Beer is good too, they are a brand carried by farm supply stores here, their ginger ale is good too.

Green River is good, hard to find, tastes like green popsicle.

My old stand by is RC cola, or fresca if I can find it.
