I live in a small town. There is one country supply store that once a year in the spring imports one pallet of Frosty top.
I was in there years ago and they had a few bottles in the cooler and as I was thirsty decided to try it. Wowzzzer.
Now every spring I buy a case and as family and friends come visiting during the summer for a taste of the country life, one of their demands each
year is grampa Terry's magical orange floats. And oh yes, not just vanilla, but vanilla bean,
In case you are not up on the exact manner in which to build a float, the soda goes in first. Slowly with the glass tipped to one side so that the
soda retains as much fizz as possible.
Then, again slowly, the ice cream is not dropped into the glass but rather carefully slipped into
the soda so it does not ''explode'' . I know this because when I was young I managed an ice cream parlor and my nick name was ''scoop''
