FBI arrests 5 from New Mexico compound on firearms charges

"SANTA FE, N.M. – The FBI on Friday arrested five former residents of a ramshackle compound in New Mexico on firearms and conspiracy charges as local prosecutors dropped charges in the death of a 3-year-old boy at the property."

Well, there ya go.
Will they see jail time?

They screwed up the first arrest so maybe they will get this one to stick.

Maybe, but this still seems fishy, something stinks to high heaven with all this

Maybe. Something is definitely shady and amiss behind the scenes in this one, for sure.

It's like they are trying to make things look odd.

Maybe the local prosecutors let the hearing lapse on purpose.

Now the Feds can make a bigger case with a bigger PUNCH.

Still sounds like "Fast and Furious/Gunwalking" if you ask me. What about the Georgia site, and the Brooklyn Connection? Let's just ignore all that and more; I'm lazy so here's a link to the ATS thread were I made my point.

No one wants another "... were training children to shoot up schools." type of thing, where the culprits were let off over a technicality.

Cut to the chase, you get innocent, you get innocent, you ALL get innocent!!

Is this double jeopardy?

This is just the FBI collecting up their assets in a "trying not to be conspicuous" way.

They will relocate and set up a new camp elsewhere.

Doesn't apply here. They were arrested on weapons and conspiracy charges.
That and I believe double jeopardy means you can't be tried again. You can be arrested again.
