It's like they are trying to make things look odd.

Maybe the local prosecutors let the hearing lapse on purpose.

Now the Feds can make a bigger case with a bigger PUNCH.

No one wants another "... were training children to shoot up schools." type of thing, where the culprits were let off over a technicality.

This is just the FBI collecting up their assets in a "trying not to be conspicuous" way.

They will relocate and set up a new camp elsewhere.

Doesn't apply here. They were arrested on weapons and conspiracy charges.
That and I believe double jeopardy means you can't be tried again. You can be arrested again.
