So, i've been waiting for something like this for ages.

I hope it's good.

From what I've seen, it's more about Neil. Looking forward to it.

But that shot looking into his helmet looks a lot like Keir Dullea in 2001. Don't it?

I'm already grinding my teeth about technical errors.

When they open the LM hatch they should be looking into the LM shadow, but they aren't, and the view of Earth at the end of one of the trailers is completely wrong in terms of its angle and phase. I can kind of understand the first one from an artistic point of view (not going to be too impressive opening the door and seeing darkness), but the second one is just basic - it's not like the images aren't available to double check.

Reviews sound good though.

Except that in Canberra, the landing in local time was 6:17 AM.

Humans [myself included] get confused recollecting old, old dramatic events in their lives.

I remember watching a moon walk in our American classroom, but if I said I remembered watching Apollo 11 in my classroom, I know I'd be mis-remembering it.

Ignoring the fact that I'd have been only of pre-school age for Apollo 11, the other problem with that idea would be that Apollo 11 happened in July when there is no school.

I don't know which Moon walk it was, but most likely it was Apollo 16 or 17. Those happened when I was in first and second grade, and happened during the school year.

They appear to have used NASA's hi-def film from the launch as the film's launch sequence. Pretty cool.

This 2018 movie was filmed in part on The Moon.

It was too difficult to do a convincing fake in a studio, so they decided it would be easier just to film in on the Moon.
