Yet no one batted an eye as democrats and media people claimed trump would round up gay people, outlaw abortion, kick all brown people out of the country, and make women second class citizens

Not that he's not trying.

Now you're claiming that he's trying to make women second class citizens, kick all brown people out of the country, outlaw abortion and round up gay people?

Have you got any links?

See it's the association with people like you that has the democrat support base leaving in droves. In droves!
Please, please keep up the false outrage, the misinformed fear mongering and the autistic schreeching until the end of 2024. That way we might see another one like him when he steps down.

The left does hate Christianity. They are more likely to use nonviolent methods though.

I have no doubt they will vent full force on the USA's Christians (and other conservatives) if/when they get the chance. look at how New York prosecutors are targeting Trump-related organizations.

Trump is a Christian Conservative?

Oh, I forgot, his favorite book is the Bible.

That's not the book his ex-wife said he kept by the bed

You know just to illustrate how fear mongering the left can be...

Here is a video of CNN people claiming trump calls out antifa because antifa is an african american organization, and its part of trumps war on black people, from last night!

The CNN segment was focused on discussing Trump's recent remarks to a group of Christian leaders that if Republicans lose this November there could be widespread violence.

"Let's be clear also about what's going on here, the theme here is 'I'm Donald Trump and I'll protect you from the scary black people,'" Toobin claimed on CNN. "Antifa is widely perceived as an African-American organization and this is just part of the same story of LeBron James and Don Lemon and Maxine Waters and the NFL players and the UCLA basketball players."

When did ANTIFA become a black organization. As far as I knew, the closest they came to being a black organization was in wearing black masks all the time. Underneath, they were whatever color and a lot seemed to be privileged white kids.

If we go by the Russia story, probably a couple of well-watered prostitutes so they can pee on demand.

According to a 1990 Vanity Fair interview, Ivana Trump once told her lawyer Michael Kennedy that her husband, real-estate mogul Donald Trump, now a leading Republican presidential candidate, kept a book of Hitler's speeches near his bed.

I am a Christian, and let me tell you a couple of home truths...

It is not Christian to refuse someone service because you feel you have permission to discriminate against them, based on your religion. It is not Christian to support the tax exempt nature of the mega-Churches, because they are not anything other than businesses, nor in fact is is Christian to RUN a mega-church, to BE a person like Joel Osteen or any of those who bare a similar mark upon them, or for that matter any of their followers. Those are cults of personality, not religions.

These things are deeply anti-christian. Becoming fat from the donations of parishoners, feeding a bloated false god, making discrimination a part of your religious process. None of these things are of Christ, all of them are against his command.

There is nothing anti-Christian about the left, but there is much that is anti-Christian, about Christian Conservatives, so much so that to speak those two words in connection with one another, renders the phrase entire an oxymoron.

As much as it is ridiculous to lump all left wings as being anti christian, you are just as wrong to claim christian conservative is an oxymoron.

I could go on why, but instead I will ask you this.

You claim to be a christian.

What would christ think about your calls to murder trump supporters if trump gets too much power?

i hope he goes full evangelical whack-O, he'll lose votes, imo.

all the trump voters I know (parents, best friend) are NOT religious at all and have gay family members.

the only Christian in my family (the rest are pretty much agnostic) is my mother-in-law, she's a democrat and thinks trump is awful.

So saying true brit is a christian would be just as much of an oxymoron as conservative christian?

Doesnt the bible say something about casting stones?

Uh oh, Trump said something and we’re disgusted.

You got something like this:

You heard right folks — if Democrats take the House, we, the Left, will take to the streets, pummeling Christians with our bike locks and tearing apart their churches with our demographically diverse demolition teams. Come XMAS you'll be inflating your Santa lawn decorations in the basement.

From this?

They will overturn everything that we’ve done and they’ll do it quickly and violently, and violently. There’s violence. When you look at Antifa and you look at some of these groups — these are violent people.

One can do something violently without hurting anyone. You can cough violently, for example. You can do anything violently so long as you do it with speed and vigor.

No, he did not say “there will be violence”, neither explicitly or implicitly.

Trump calls Antifa violent, and they spin it around as Trump threatening violence. Only in the warped minds of anti-trumpets can such a statement arise.

I thought that everyone is sinner, and everyone can be forgiven if they accept Christ.

Or are only those who identify with the left aloud to be Christians?

No, not at all.

But it is fundamentally impossible to be a corporatist and believe in the power and love of Christ. It is fundamentally impossible to have a tendency toward racial and sexual, and sexual orientation discrimination, and be Christian in nature. Those are anti-christian traits, regardless of how much time a person spends in their church, or how much they donate to it, or whatever the case may be.

You cannot support the things that Conservative politicians tend to support, and be Christian in any other way but as a meaningless self identification. You can be a member of a church based group, you could even read the bible and pray your head off, but you cannot associate yourself with the ramifications of conservatism in this era, and be genuinely Christian at heart, because so many things about Christianity, make belief in conservative ideals absolutely impossible.

You don't have to be a lefty to believe in Jesus, to be a Christian. You just can't be full on, right hand down all the way right wing and believe in Christ, because its those folks he will be putting to the sword come the end, not those he will be protecting.

But you are conflating things and being hyperbolic.

It is totally reasonable to believe in limited government and taxes and believe in christ.

You are a socialist and feel that somehow means everyone who is not is immoral; ignoring the fact that people could just as easily claim socialism is immoral.

The truth is what economic system of political party we believe in does not automatically make us good or bad people, nor does it exclude us from being christian.

You however, literally advocate for violence and death against people of a political party you dislike.

That does in fact make you a bad person, and not a christian.

There is, but there shouldn't be, a debate about works vs faith. When one props themselves up as a leader of the community due to their religious Christian standing, they should be judged by the following scriptures, in my opinion.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Matthew 25
35 For I was hungry, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Don't intend to lecture, but hypocrisy really burns me up! Not you, CriticalStinker, but the conservative Christian politicians that vote for tax cuts for the rich and food and healthcare cuts for the poor, for example. I'll just leave it there, and not get into their immigration hypocrisy.

That violent leftists will crush Christianity if Democrats win must be the most absurd argument for keeping Republicans in power that I've ever witnessed. Give me a break, people. It would be funny if so many people would not fall for it. I'm a Christian, but my belief is being eroded by the insistence of Christians demanding that others believe as they do. Christianity in America has been rebranded as a political party. WWJD? Not this for sure. He says love your neighbors as yourself. That means showing tolerance for others who might not view the world as you do. What part of that don't Christians get?
