You have the clout to just show up at funerals?

I'm impressed.

I feel I owe it to them since I'm typically responsible for the poor state of the decedent's constitution.

Maybe if the trump haters didn't attack every move he makes it would be easier.
He was literally criticized for his work with crayons.
No, he was criticised for his inability to correctly colour in an American flag. Did you miss that point? But thanks for confining the OP's thesis, just the same.

He'd be fired in any other job.

But has he ever been fired?

Man. You are hilarious. A new president comes in and everyone seems to forget everything that happened before him.

Here we go. Obama was defended by the left tooth and nail for every dumb thing he did. Bush Jr. was defended by the right for every mistake he made. Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan, etc. I could go on.

This happens EVERY FOUR TO EIGHT YEARS. Good god. Stop acting like this is brand new behavior, exclusive to Trump. The simple truth of the matter is a lot of people put a lot of faith into (pick your president) and wanted him to succeed. A lot of other people hated him and wanted him to fail. BS flies from both sides.

If you were a die-hard fan of a band, a movie, or even a book, you would defend it even if everyone else says it sucks. Why? Because you like it and no one is going to change your mind.

I hope this thoroughly explains this extremely simple concept of why people defend things you don’t like.

No one ever kills the guy who "knows where the bodies are buried" in the movies.

It's not a thesis.

Everybody look! He doesn't know what a thesis is!!! [Satire]

I think part of it is because the left seem to thrive on attacking Trump and his family for virtually anything they can find, regardless of how innocuous or benign it might be. In some respects it feels like defending someone against a bunch of bullies. It doesn't matter why the bullies are attacking, only that they are.

As for the flag, it matters little. Maybe he is color blind. Maybe he likes blue. Maybe all the red ones were taken and he had to color something or the press would rage against him for not engaging with the children. Heaven help him if he took a red one from a kid. "Trump stole a crayon from a child and he chose red over blue! He's a commie!!!"

...and why does it matter to you?

You seriously were in the other thread, ran over to make a thread on why Trump supporters, defend and support their POTUS...?

Further reading the OP, its literally a "Well, did or did he NOT know how to color?"

Its really a RANT and a terrible one at that

It's not a rant.
It matters as far as I want to understand where the right is coming from.

How else will I know if I don't ask?

Apparently these days you can't even ask questions.

Oh no, it's a rant. Straight up.

I didn't forget anything and I know it happens on both sides.

I am still curious as to why some or most defend this president no matter what.

Why is it so hard to get answers?

It interests me so I figure the best way to find out is to ask
I was wrong

. Obama was defended by the left tooth and nail for every dumb thing he did.

'57 state's'
"Murdering the word corpsman'
'Benghazi was over a video'.
'If you like your doctor you can keepyour doctor, and the ACA wasn't a tax until it was declared constitutional as a tax'.

Trump has a long way to go to get to Obama level of stupid.

Just cause you say it does not make it true.

It was supposed to be an information gathering thread for me.
Something interests me so I asked.

That's it

I'll restate my answer. Since you're interested, tell me what you think. it's not really about defense so much as it is about criticizing bad behavior.

I wrote this:

"For me anyways, the consistent scrutiny and bullying is uncalled for. There are people essentially rooting through his trash, analyzing every word, picture, movement, interaction, harassing his family, for the sole purpose of bullying him. The fact that it is done by lesser human beings, many of whom could never do it to his face, makes it all the more annoying.

If only you guys could have the same thick-skin as Trump we might take you seriously. "

So people are whining about Trump exercising his first amendment right.

Among those rights is freedom of expression.

If a person can throw a bible in the toilet and call it art.

There's absolutely no effing basis to be whining about color book flags.

I think you're right.
I think he is scrutinized more than any other president.
I think he catches # at times when he shouldn't.
Of course

I've said in many threads he is not a monster.

He does make mistakes though. He is human.
I just want to know why so many refuse to ever say yeah, he messed up.

No basis to make it a huge deal.

Your question to his supporters "why must you defend absolutely everything (Trump says or does)?
Because the MSM attacks everything Trump says or does.

Kinda funny that they find so many things to attack. If you are wrong, you are wrong. Period. End run.

Find a legitimate criticism then maybe will listen.

Coloring ain't one of them.

He lies 7 times a day to the American people. That enough for you?

Your taxes are lower and your GDP is up.

Wtf is your problem? Seriously...

Who's taxes the 1%? Those living in Bama? Most people actually will see them go up.

Perhaps the Trump supporters seem to defend EVERYTHING because there is little good to point at. The OP is spot on. People are defending the flag coloring as vehemently as they do the No Russian collusion narrative.

We get it hes your guy but at some point you get fed up. I like many wonder where that is.
Excuse me? Ummm, NO. I respectfully and vehemently disagree with your post.

"Little good to point at", with all the obstruction he has to wade thru and an entire ideology that opposes him in all fashions?

The OP isn't spot on, rather, his naivete on the context of his own post, nevermind the massive broadstrokes, is whats in question, it's a rant based off the assumption in regards to "coloring" with which nobody knows the true or actual contents.

We get it, YOU and others don't like him, but at some point, WE DID GET FED UP WITH EVERY SINGLE leftist and liberal trying to get their sucker punch in and hit pieces, that very coloring thread itself, was one.
The very liberal MSM on a daily basis, on their continued assault of our POTUS and the venomous responses of the left, NO SIR.

It is because of that, Trump supporters, all MILLIONS of us, will defend him against blind hate. Eye for an eye, 'nuff said.

As for me, as a result of the 2016 elections and the liberal MSM, I became a 100% devote ardent supporter of my POTUS regardless of what and why.
