Have any of you noticed how headlines are no longer about bad unemployment rates, a failing stock market, ISIS, failed universal Healthcare, a nation more divided than ever...

Have any of you noticed how top threads aren't about police brutality and federal land seizures?

Have any of you noticed...?

Or do you just thrive on the negative, so every time Trumps fart smells slightly bad, a huge news story is in order?

Look, I dislike the guy, period. He's narcissistic, seems to thrive more on assertiveness and confidence rather than intelligence and class, and just overall does not embody a role model in many ways...

Yet, things are looking better.

Seriously.

Remove every ad-homimen attack against Trump. Take away all problems that persist through all presidencies, take away the witch hunt and conspiracy theories, and what do we have left? Think about it.

I'm honestly open to consider an alternative point of view, it would actually fall in line with my personal feelings towards Trump to hear that he's messed things up. I was actually really upset that he wants to reduce taxes and regulations on businesses while they're still pocketing more and more of the money that other people did the work for... Yet, is it worth it for me to stand on a principle, while ignoring nearly record low unemployment rates with a record high stock market?

The evidence just doesn't support the conclusion that Trump has made our country worse.

Whew.

I spent half the day Sunday trying to ascertain just how many times its assumed Trump farted "all day". Got all these AI algorithms tabulating statistics from bloggers, ATS threads, "news" companies, Facebook, Snapchat, Fortnite, BuzzFeed, Clash of Clans (COC), video games "clansmen", human drones at Starbucks, everybody using their "phones" (computers), the entire "Internet of Things", etc.

Then it all gets complicated because of mixed interpretations of what "all day" actually constitutes, in everyday discussion, of all human beings across Planet Earth; then there's the dastardly time zone differentials from one person to the next of everyone that uses the Interwebs; then there's our own personal bias assumptions we try to rule out (luckily there isnt any).

You just dont realize how hardcore this bad juju Math Model / bad juju AI Model -we constantly manipulate in real time- flows over here... every single day... here at Google Corp.

At the end of the day as an American...

Didn't vote for the guy, can't stand his persona.

However.

My personal finances have gotten a lot better since he has shown up.

My business is better.

My family is doing better.

The people around me... all doing better.

So why read the headlines if they either contradict what I see or just drag me down on something I see is just BS?

Let the guy keep going on what he's doing.

In my mind, he's a lot better than the last guy so far.

When were the last headlines about bad unemployment rates and a failing stock market?

The unemployment rate is 3.9% as of the July numbers. The last full month under Obama, unemployment was 4.7% which is where unemployment was pre-Great Recession. In fact, the highest it was in 2016 was 5.0%. The stock market wasn't failing before Trump came along either. Granted, unemployment is .8% lower than it was and the stock market has seem even bigger gains but the point you're trying to make is that Trump has somehow been responsible for a turn around and that's untrue.

You might in fact see different headlines, just like you no longer see right-wing outlets non-stop losing their # about the national debt. We're on track for the faster dollar increase ever currently.

Has police brutality stopped? Are we less divided as a nation than before? Did Trump do something to improve the state of health insurance in the US? No, no and no?

Could it just be that before Trump, your choice in outlets were generating negative headline after headline and now under Trump, they're not?

It’s the twitter fallacy. People take Twitter to be a representation of reality and take the tweets that occur there to be the national conversation. But once you turn it off, things are nearly the opposite. The problem is they cannot turn it off.

Dang , I was reading and considering a rebuttal
However , with that one line , you performed a riposte to your own post more effectively than I could have

And we aren't at war. That's my favorite part. The dude actually sat and talked instead of bombing and invading. Strange how talking shnit out instead of fighting is not embraced by some who pretend that they are yearning for peace and love in the world. The same people who didn't raise an eyebrow when we bombed Syria or when a certain women laughed at Qaddafi and the destabilization of Libya. Oh well, covfefe suckas. Keep digging for impeachment, maybe you'll get your war eventually if he gets the boot. God, I don't want that though.

Its... Probably more complex.

Consider WATCHERS that didn't fall and followed orders given to them.

ALL human activities observed from east to western quadrants.

On topic, its all programming of the minds receptive, interested, obsessed with said topics capturing their undivided attention.

The spirit science groups were trying to prepare the collective consciousness to be stronger w/ awareness abilities that can prevent the programming.
But now a few years in the future here we are bombarded from various directions w/ deception & ignorance and many clearly are not prepared and are being programmed.

I typed "US national debt" into a search engine and looked at the news results. You're right. No right-wing outlets, just left-wing ones where it used to be the other way around. Nobody wants to own it. It was in the news when it passed $22 trillion on Friday.

There's a surprisingly balanced article on Breitbart here. One with a bit more slant even though it's essentially accurate - NYT - no nation will reduce its national debt on lower taxes and more spending.

I started reading this the other day from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office - The 2018 Long-Term Budget Outlook (pdf). It'd be startling to more people if they weren't so busy playing 'tag, you're it' with the blame for it all. It's like a ship sinking while everyone argues whether it was the captain, the weather or the shipbuilder's fault.

If anyone's reading this, I'm not blaming Dems or Reps and not attacking the USA. The UK is in trouble and so are many other nations. Check out this disturbing image (source) and imagine how worse it's going to get if current projections (non-partisan ones) come to pass.

These levels of national debt are similar to a household that's floating on more debt than it can pay back. The cost of borrowing goes up and, when a recession hits, there's not enough in the pot to cover emergencies. Scaryass stuff!!

My main outlet is alternative websites like ATS.. Which is admittedly a somewhat crazy place.

The negative threads on here are all ad-hominem attacks, conspiracies - which I approve of due to the nature of the site, but much of it is conspiring against Trump, though I will admit plenty of Clinton and other right-wing punching bags are still mentioned a lot.

Like I say, take away all fluff, and what's left?

Not wars, the rise of BLM and ANTIFA, spreading ISIS extremism, etc...

A concession, though, I do see that unemployment was going down in Obamas last term. It'd be interesting to see the real numbers both at that time and now - who is being paid enough to actually live off of, basically. ( not suggesting it's higher under Trump, it could very well be the same or less, just not my anecdotal experience )

The national debt story and the fact that ot is being ignored by republicans is something that really irks me.

I thought it was out of control under Obama (and bush etc.) so why would I be ok with trump raising it as quickly as he has?

But so many people fall in the trap of defedning their team no matter what.

SO I say to my fellow trump supporters; its ok to support the guy and still be critical of the things he does that you dont like.

As far as the rest of the op; I agree that trump has been doing a lot of good, that gets ignored because the people who control our culture seek to bring him down by any means necessary.

And os they focus on porn star stories, and all sorts of other ridiculous things.

However, lets not act like this isnt what was done to bill clinton as well.

An idea occurred to me this morning. Trump should join ATS.

He wouldn't have to post anything, but as a member it would be against T&C to start threads for the sole purpose of insulting him. Just imagine how many members would be banned in the first month.
