We don't like you and we don't want you at McCain's funeral. But if you don't honor and praise him we will call you names and insult you for being so mean and uncaring.

Divisive til the end - and beyond...

Perhaps people should ask themselves why is trump such a divisive character, what is it that so many people hate so much about him...

Did any of you ever ask that about Obama, and further, did any of you ask why, if Trump was/is so awful, Hillary still got beat by him? What was it about her and her connections that made her *that* unpalatable to so many?

I hear Trump's not invited to Clinton's funeral either.

OOPS! She wasn't supposed to know about that yet.

Sorry.

So your last act while leaving this planet is not one of peace and forgiveness for future generations to look back at with admiration. But one acting like a resentful prick. Icing on the cake for a life filled with corruption and warmongering...

This whole thing has snowballed into cluster ****.

I'm just going to repost what I stated in anther thread:

Here read this article:

Revenge of the Herd

But in McCain’s own words he admitted that just four days after being captured, he violated the U.S. Code of Conduct by telling his captors “O.K., I’ll give you military information if you will take me to the hospital.”

and

McCain’s accounts of torture and beatings were never witnessed by a single other POW. The U.S. Navy says that two eyewitnesses are required for any award of heroism, but for McCain’s valor awards, there are no witnesses except for McCain himself and his captors.

As for McCain refusing an early release, three different POW’s have said that he was ordered to turn it down by his U.S. POW commander. And I have yet to find accounts of other POW’s that were given cakes, fruit, tea and cigarettes. That doesn’t sound like torture to me but more like a man who has become comfortable with the enemy.

Upon McCain’s return from Vietnam, his records as a POW were immediately marked classified. His commanding officer while he was a POW, Colonel Ted Guy, submitted a series of charges to military prosecutors that cited McCain with treason among other things. McCain, along with 33 other POW’s, faced court martial with McCain by far being the one accused of the most serious of crimes. But it was also McCain, who was the son and grandson of distinguished Navy Admirals, that had to be protected at all costs for the sake of his family’s distinguished reputation. Because of this, the worst traitor in American history became known as a war hero and was elected to the Senate. President Richard Nixon issued a blanket pardon for McCain and the other 33 POW’s.

Phoenix New Times March 25, 1999 4:00am

* McCain was never tortured.

Patty: "There are a lot of little nuances, dealing with John McCain. He claims that he was tortured . . . or he implies it. That's a lie."

The Hoppers have located two former POWs who claim they were senior ranking officers at the time McCain says he was tortured in solitary confinement. Ted Guy and Gordon "Swede" Larson both tell New Times that while they could not guarantee that McCain was not physically harmed, they doubted it.

"Between the two of us, it's our belief, and to the best of our knowledge, that no prisoner was beaten or harmed physically in that camp [known as "The Plantation"]," Larson says. ". . . My only contention with the McCain deal is that while he was at The Plantation, to the best of my knowledge and Ted's knowledge, he was not physically abused in any way. No one was in that camp. It was the camp that people were released from."

On what McCain believes was his fourth day in captivity, two guards came into his cell and pulled back his blanket.

I looked at my knee. It was about the size, shape and color of a football. I remembered that when I was a flying instructor a fellow had ejected from his plane and broken his thigh. He had gone into shock, the blood had pooled in his leg, and he died, which came as quite a shock to us--a man dying of a broken leg. Then I realized that a very similar thing was happening to me.

When I saw it, I said to the guard, "O.K., get the officer."

McCain agreed to give military information in exchange for a trip to the hospital, but he was told it was too late. Then, however, the Vietnamese discovered they were holding the "crown prince"--the admiral's son.

So we don't have to say it McCain said it himself, and then lies about doing it. Do your research before going off about how great McCain is.

And I'm going to top this off with some final thoughts about Senator Songbird;
McCain was no hero either on the field of battle or off. During the war he was responsible for the deaths of over a hundred US Sailors during the USS Forrestal flight deck incident. If it wasn't for his dad stepping in and covering it up, McCain would have had to answer for that. Then his actions as a POW (which I listed above, despite what some people have tried to stated to the contrary, is in fact proven facts)

Outside of his self appointed title of hero, he was nothing but a disruptive force in congress. While it always seemed like he was acting on his own accords, he rarely ever acted in the best interests of those that elected him into office. Every re-election he had out would come the false story of his war heroism, and people would just vote for him. Nobody even knew what was being classified about his conduct during the war, or that he received a Presidential Pardon for his actions he did during the war. He was a petty man that lived constantly on the shoulders of those who came before him in such an exploited way that it would have surely have disgusted is ancestors as to the coward that he was.

***FINAL SIDE NOTE ABOUT THIS***

I hope that the floor of the Senate opens up an investigation into how long McCain has been incapable of clearly thinking for himself, and who may have been proxy voting in his place. Hopefully that will be a public open casket viewing of the body, but I'm beginning to think that it will be either a close casket or a cremation funeral. Either of these will bring the added conspiracy of when did McCain really die?

On a personal note, I had an Uncle who served aboard the USS Forrestal during the flight deck incident, and he bitched about how McCain fired the missile. He went to his grave hating McCain for getting away with all those deaths and for other things he did (I assumed that my uncle meant what McCain did while being held in Hanoi). When I was in DC during the 90's I had to serve as a security team for members of the US Senate, and I'll just leave it at this: McCain was no friend to the Military unless the cameras were on.

So to all over you who think he was this great hero, I'm glad that you people are strong enough in your beliefs to be wrong and yet still defend your opinions about him. It's people like you that make this country great, and not people like McCain.

Apparently "bizarre" is rather entertaining to a certain type of audience.

"bizarre" is the Mans Trump card really.

Trump said he wasn't a war hero. He should welcome him? Bull #. Trump deserves this extremely public snub. It drives him crazy when he's not accepted. I hope that makes headlines in Europe and Asia too.
John McCain's last wish. "Stay away from my funeral!"

I mean i pretty much guarantee i could get you to tell me whatever i wish within the first few minutes with only a steam iron and cigarette lighter.

How do you know he was tortured for such intel? I've heard it said that when you assume, you make an ASS out of U and ME.

I bet you my favorite fishing pole that none of that was even required for this "hero".

Maybe some of his ISIS buddies in that infamous picture will be at the funeral.

If true I'll call Neil deGrasse Tyson, that much corruption in such a small place would certainly create some kind of astrological anomaly.

On a more real note, do you think Soros would even show up for something like this?

This coming from the same liberals that shredded him when he ran for president LOL

They can't even see their own hypocrisy when the only reason they laud the man was because he hated Trump!

Liberals are not a very sharp bunch.
They tend to jump on a lot of bandwagons without even thinking.

Fought for his country got shot down during Operation Rolling Thunder over Hanoi and was also tortured apparently.

Trump, on the other hand, had poor feet that day.

And yet, he became president and McCain forced Sarah Palin on the country. I think Trump came out ahead.

ETA
Did you vote for him in 2008?

Oh what makes you think he doesn't want to be there. It's a crowd. Of course he wouldn't be the guest of honor but he can always elbow his way in front.
Come on old man do it.
