Result of last 65 years of socialist government agenda disregard for laws, social engineering,I see the ignorant saying "so what" these are the fools who will cry the most, the powers in control want 1 world order, and will kill everyone till they are done, young people think everything they disagree on is a fake or CGI,they don't understand reality, and when faced with it can't deal with the truth, because the truth is something they don't want to hear

Hi Redneck,

How about this?

I pledge allegiance to the corruption
of the Clinton Foundation
and to the despots for which it stands:
One nation, under Hillary,
divisive
with Communism and oppression for all.

This has gone WAY too far!!

An Atlanta school has decided they will no longer recite the pledge of allegiance, and will instead develop an "Oath" which...

“will focus on students’ civic responsibility to their school family, community, country and our global society.”

Source

Parents are objecting. No wonder!

The PC World has gone completely INSANE!

What do YOU think?

Actually, it appears the PC thing to do is to stick to the pledge of allegiance, in order to not offend the ultra-nationalists is this country.

Gotta recite the pledge like good conscripts, less you face the wrath of the outrage machine.

The form of the pledge of allegiance we use was created by a socialist.

What relevance does that have?

That seems to me rather like the whole "international socialist" kind of doctrine.

Education is properly the domain of the states.
The fact it's federalized only shows the overreach of DC.
Pledging allegiance to anything outside of one's own country?
Where does that come from - the UN?
How did our children ever learn without the NEA and common core?
Time has shown the less local control the worse the results are.

Sure.

Irony can be amusing at times.

I wouldn't base my pledge on unfounded, unproven, right wing propaganda.

But, feel free.

Yes, and was meant to be a universal pledge for any country.

"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

So let's see if we can agree on something here...

I'm actually okay with that version. The "under God" version wasn't added until 1954. The pledge is to a flag and/or country. The "under God" part is really more of a threat offering the consequence of violating the pledge. Secondly, I don't have a particular issue with the "under God" part, but would be equally okay with striking it. Thirdly, it is more important to have someone honor the flag and the country than it is to force their belief in a specific deity.

HOWEVER, that said, it is wholly different than inserting "Global Society" anywhere in that pledge.

Can we agree on that??
