Christ Almighty I just broke the code on the whole damned thing. All of this stuff has been space junk we no longer use. There's over 2000 pieces of "junk" out there we track it constantly. Just because it's junk doesn't mean it doesn't still work. It just means the government isn't using it. I have a pretty good knowledge of satellite comms. They have repurposed the junk for their own use. If you have access to a satellite you have access to global communication. What does it take to communicate with a satellite? You just need to know where to look in the sky for it and a HAM radio. DAMN

Nellie Ohr has a HAM license that would allow her to use satellite comms. Wonder if it was related.
