Voting for a candidate does not mean you trust them, no, but defending them non-stop for years on end does at the very least imply that you trust them. "Trust the plan" right? Sounds like there are plenty of people "trusting the plan" Trump has supposedly concocted in the White House basement. If "Q" is to be believed that is.

You are cut from the cloth of the MSM....

“The impeachment”
“The Pence administration”

Making up things in your head, wishing upon a shooting star, misinformation and I’m sure you stand by it.

Sure, could be tongue in cheek but I get the feeling you think you know way more than you actually do.

On the topic of Sessions - he’s the invisible man, likes it that way and obviously doesn’t like being thrust into the light. I for one think he needs more light shed on him so people can understand what the hell he actually does and has been doing for the last two years.

So you agree with me? Hillary is not an excuse, Trump was a choice.

You had three choices... Hillary could be the reason for your choice for Trump...So yes, not an excuse, but a reason...
To even suggest an excuse would mean one is trying to explain why Hillary forced them to make a wrong choice, but the problem is Trump wasn't the wrong choice.

One would not need to defend if there wasn't a never ending attack that started about 30 seconds after he hit 270 votes. I feel like we are arguing over what came first the chicken or the egg here.

If everyone would just shut up and let the cards fall where they may without bias we would all be better for it.

Sure that's it... Except he ran against John McCain in 08 and then Mitt Romney in 12.

What else are you wrong about?

Supporting him is more like keeping him because that's all you got and there is nothing better.

Well the FBI and intelligence agencies had moles and fake supporters in the campaign So theres a good chance sessions was one such person. He should had said he was gonna recuse before being hired. Trump should had fired him day one.

I hate both of them, but at least Sessions bowing to Trump's every whim like almost every other Republican.

So you are saying that you "settled"' for Trump and he's not really as great as some seem to believe around here? That's a really low bar you seem to have set for yourself.

Usually politicians should be held to better standards in order to earn your support, but I guess Trump is "meh at least he's not Hilary" for you?

He probably spoke out now, because Trumps position is looking shakier by comparison, than it did early in his Presidency. With even some of the most foam mouthed supporters Trump ever had, looking back on the election with a fleck of doubt in their gaze, Sessions probably feels that he is in a better position to publicly defend himself from those sorts of comments than he used to be. Whether he knows something we do not, only time will tell, but its interesting to see this change of position from him, from absorbing the flak, to actively defending himself from it.

One way or another, a change in his stance, means a change in something else. What that may be however, is a question which is going to have a complicated answer. Yes, the President is not in the same bullish position (although you wouldn't know that from his commentary on social media and in the press) as he was, but that would not normally be enough on its own to make Sessions speak out. Unless something has moved in one of the investigations, or in other realms, his change of tack does not make sense. Perhaps he has been emboldened by his read on how the midterms might shake out.

Somethings different though.

They use to hate Sessions(weed stance) before they were for Sessions.

They are so desperate at this point that Trump could clone himself and then if the clone went against Trump, they would then support the clone.
