YES! We meant to get him into swimming lessons months ago. I never took swim lessons and I wish my parents had put me in a class when I was still oblivious to the world

As for vacations, I definitely prefer nature vs. visiting a city. We're young-ish & still trying to establish our family traditions, like vacation spots, etc.

Very good decision about swimming lessons. The reason I also suggested the mountains is because the quality of the air, remember humidity might not good for him.
