If that was meant as an insult, you are confusing liberal with libertine.

It's Banzai. But, as a Lectoid, Whorfin would have no interest in Earth politics either way.

Of course, I am not actually Lord Whorfin or Dr. Lizardo. You know that, right?

I don't want a Republican President. I don't want a Democrat President. I want Trump.

Thats probably how the majority feels as well, in spite of MSM madness.

Lol. That's a losing proposition. Politically associating with Trump this November is going to be extremely politically toxic. All that will do is just energize Democrats to vote more.

The birds could kill it first. They kill so many birds. You look underneath some of those windmills, it's like a killing field, the birds. But uh, you know, that's what they were going to, they were going to windmills. And you know, don't worry about wind, when the wind doesn't blow, I said, "What happens when the wind doesn't blow?" Well, then we have a problem. OK good. They were putting him in areas where they didn't have much wind, too. And it's a subsidiary -- you need subsidy for windmills. You need subsidy. Who wants to have energy where you need subsidy? So, uh, the coal is doing great."

Are you sure that is a speech you quoted and not just the after effect of him vomiting up a dictionary he ate earlier?

I caught myself actually mouth open at this stuff, I can't believe it. Every time I see a quote like this I have to look for the video, because it just sounds fake. It reads like a transcript of someone caught in the middle of a stroke.

But it's real:

Bannon's got a point that the GOP should put everything behind Trump if they want to keep up momentum. These poll results are from a few days ago and show Dems riding pretty high.

Bannon is arguing that Trump supporters are the main wind blowing the sails of the Republican success. People are voting Red for Trump rather than Red for GOP. It makes sense that GOP politicians should bang the drum for Trump if they want to shift any complacency among Trump voters who don't think much of their local Rep candidates.

There was a lot of cock-blocking by Reps under Obama. The Dems will almost certainly act the same and it's hard to see how stalemate and stagnation will help the wider population of America. It won't make much difference to the two Parties in the sense they just carry on regardless. For example, it still looks to me like the Dems haven't learned anything from losing to Trump. They don't seem to be addressing any of the reasons why so many voted Trump. Neither have the GOP who similarly have no drive to acknowledge why slightly more people voted for Clinton.

Like I've said here before. Bannon loves Trump and believes in his cause despite being sacked.

Personally, I think that says a lot.

From the interviews with Bannon that I have read, it is not so much loyalty to Trump, as the possibilities of a Trump-like movement that motivates the man. I think he would leave Trump behind in an instant, if he could achieve his goals of re-making American politics.

He is an interesting fellow, and has had several fits and starts in him coming to his vision of a "New America." He is pretty much an isolationist, and would like to see more efforts put into securing an internal order in the US. I am trying to use a descriptive set of terms that will not offend anyone, but he does seem to be following the line of Pat Buchanan in the 1990s.

Either way, I would disagree that he loves Trump, but rather sees him as a means to an end.

The Dems act as a group, but they also act as individuals. History says that the "in party" loses ground during mid-terms. So much for that conventional wisdom in this age, but I do think that the lack of any action over the past 20 years or so from congress will result in a movement to switch parties. Most people don't really care about elections, as the government does not seem that important to most folks. Just day to day theater and more entertainment.

I personally don't see that political parties make any difference in my life. Just a club, and something to talk about if you want to get folks riled up. However, politics matter in the long-haul, and the general directions the country moves in does have meaning. It is tough to see where we are headed if we get caught up in the short term. I try to figure out the long trend, and that is something all of us must consider.

But yes, this is a conspiracy site, so lets have a some fun and discuss stuff that we enjoy, and hopefully not get each other too riled up.

Cheers

Here is another one for you. He truly does know all the best words. Maybe just not which order to say them in though....
Seriously looks like he is suffering from some kind of mental affliction.
Apologies but I am not sure exactly which speech this transcript is from.
Gibberish !

I don't think so. However, when Trump was nominated I thought it would shake some sense into the party. That didn't work, sycophancy took over. But if Democrats can take control of the House (and or Senate)...that's the ticket. That will wake 'em up to what they should be. Which is not a protectionist, deficit increasing, religious based cabal. The party that turned me into a "Libertarian" a couple of decades ago.

Trump is a one term President. The RNC didn't like him and the DNC hates him. He IS the third party... I don't think people understand that. Don't worry though life will go back to the comfort level of the establishment in charged. The establishment has done us so well so far, must be good.
