Kaepernick's rebuttal:
broncoswire.usatoday.com...

Kaepernick seemingly responded to Elway’s comments by retweeting a tweet comparing his career quarterback rating to Elway’s rating:
Those stats are accurate, according to NFL.com. Following a 16-year career, Elway retired in 1999 with a quarterback rating of 79.9. Kaepernick played six years in the NFL, posting a career rating of 88.9.

Your arms are too short to box with god, little man. Elway did things you never did, such as win Super Bowls, call his own plays, play through his prime for a coach who stubbornly refused to let him throw until the 2nd half when the team was well behind almost every week, his worst full season he threw for more yards than you did in your best, 148 wins, 9 pro bowls, MVP, NFL Man of the Year, Two time offensive player of the year, Hall of Fame, fastest GM to 100 victories, and likely will become the first modern NFL player to have played jist entire HOF career for a team he won Super Bowls with to then take the same team to Super Bowl titles as GM and then own the team (assuming he ultimately ends up owning the Broncos as most have expected to happen sometime in the next 10 years.) That tweet summarizes perfectly why Kap's a loser and jobless... he has no football knowledge, no understanding of his place or role in the game, and a chip on his shoulder which is utterly unearned. He's taunting someone who lays legitimate claim to being one of the 5 greatest QBs to ever play the game and doing so from the football equivalent of the beggar's position... not smart and certainly not worth anything but a head shake and chuckle.

Is K. actually putting himself on Elway's level? That's funny.

Kap had every right to kneel. NFL teams have every right to not accept him.

Political beliefs is not a protected class.

He retweeted someone's comparison of him to Elway, using QBR as the only metric. Since it was a retweet Kap has a bit of an out there, but his inference is clear. I mean, seriously... he'd be better served by picking a solid starter to compare his stats to rather than trying to make himself look like he can square up a legend. Compare himself to Dave Krieg, Bernie Kozar, Jake Plummer, hell even go nuts and pick a middle of the road guy whose won something like Flaco or Dilfer, but this was a really clueless move on his part. Elway wasn't ripping his game, he was ripping his decision making skills for turning down the offer and lo and behold, Kap underscores the fact that his decision making is his real worst enemy by making yet another bone headed, self agrandizing decision.

LOL! Poor little millionaire victim. Life must be so very tough for the poor little rich boy.
