Call her "Hope". Because is what she represents and because is what she needs too.

I would name her either Snoop or Sam. Don't know why, that's just what popped into my head when I saw her beautiful eyes.

It's what I named my oldest son.

He's lucky. Our youngest, Pot Roast, gets picked on in school.

Foster is a good name.

I'd call them Foster. I know I do often think from a to a.000000001 but Imagine it... "Hey Foster!!" and those ears perk up and they come running, tail wagging..

You and ClayDisk would get on like a house on fire on a lazy sunday afternoon... You and your kids, him and his recipes..

I'm not good at naming dogs I don't know...but I always like to use names that have a meaning...and I find Swahili to be useful at creating unusual names...I chose the word "Joy" because she seems like she's a playful, personality filled pup. The Swahili word for Joy is: Furaha... With those eyes, I'm sure she'll be a furry fury of joy in your home.

I'd call her Nuke. If I ever get another dog, that's what I'm gonna name it.

Correct.

We are on a trial with her for 1 - 2 weeks to get to know her and to see if shes a good fit for the family. If so then we keep her. If not, then she goes back to another foster parent.
My wife has been calling me non-stop with how cute she is, or how cute something she did was...

I havent even met her yet, ive been up at the mine site I work at.
But im going home today so ill be spending some time with her this weekend.

Sounds to me like you have a new addition to the family, called Peaches.
How could you not love those eyes...?

I originally was thinking something Norse as well in honor of Loki, or something that started with an L.
This is Loki here:

I dont know if I will ever be able to love a dog as much as I still love Loki.
Even typing his name brings tears to my eyes.
I miss him a lot right now.
The sky is dark and dreary up where I am, looks like its going to rain, so thats not helping.
But just looking at his picture makes me happy... and sad at the same time.

My wife just sent this one to me:

One thing that Loki would do with me at night would be when I would put him out for the last time at night, I would have a smoke outside and look up at the stars.
He too, would tilt his head back and stare straight up into the night sky.
Like he was in as much wonder and awe with the star lights as me.

My wife said last night the little pup was doing the same thing.
That made me smile.
