A thief with a hankering for soup is afoot in Georgia after police in Fayette County discovered someone had stolen nearly $100,000 worth of ramen noodles. Deputies are looking into the theft of a large trailer holding the massive amounts of soup, according to Fox 5 Atlanta. The 53-foot trailer was parked at a Chevron store on Georgia Interstate Highway 85 north. The theft occurred sometime between July 25 and Aug. 1. The local sheriff said the trailer had been secured at the time. The owner of the trailer estimated that $98,000 worth of ramen was onboard.

i know anything is worth money but seems like a big risk to steal all that ramen.
hahahahahahahah

you got 10k grand worth of merchandise but you can get 3 for a dollar at the store.
so to make your sky high stacks you need to be out there on the corner hustlin ramen.

you got to get out there.

this one is dedicated to all the people that lived in the buildings above the street corner where i was hustlin from trying to make some money to feed my daughter[/biggie]

ramen isn't soup.

That stuff is about 5 bucks for a case of 24.
Who the hell would want a whole truck load of it?

was this an 800 ft trailer? At .18 cents a shot, it seems like it would take a good bit of space to house that much of the dinner of kings.

He's ready for the pockylips!

Although the seasoning packets go bad even indoors after a few tears, he'll need a big drum full of soup bullion powder to actually be able to enjoy all those noodles if the pockylips doesnt come in the next couple-few years.

$100,000 is the police "street value" of the ramen.

Maybe he was one that was incarcerated in one of our State Pens and developed a taste for this culinary delight while there
Just stole enough for 3 meals a day for life

Or he/she could not read what was on the side of the trailer ? NVM the pictures..

What I want to know is why only 1 store needs to have a trailer with that much ramen in it parked behind it?
I would bet 10 different Walmart stores don’t even have that much on hand combined.

That must be a giant trailer. $100,000 worth of ramen is what?...like umpteen metric tons of dry noodles?

Now maybe the thief REALLY likes ramen. A possibility. But probably not.

So, how does one flip stolen ramen? Is there an underground ramen market? Secret bank accounts in Switzerland? Anonymous auctions on the dark web? Ramen mules carrying illicit noodles in various body orifices across borders?

Ummm...burp...

Noisily slurpes last noodle and shaking rips open another ramen pack while gazing fondly at the empty package strewn floor...buuuuuurrrp...

“Dude must have one helluva noodle fetish...”

Pats stomach bulge...

“A whole truck...huh...?”
