Oh, and General Flynn was targeted because he was going toe to toe
with Brennan over the civilian casualties, and Turkey policy.

Brennan had his hands in to many bad pies....

In addition to being used for future jobs, security clearance is used so that people formerly working for the government can stick around and advice newbies. It only makes sense to let people keep their security clearances, and Trump is taking them away as a weapon in a retaliatory fashion. He is vindictive and immature.

This is HIGHLY irregular for a POTUS to make these decisions. It is typically a professional courtesy to allow former heads such as these directors to retain their clearances.

Professional courtesy ?
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

You have never had a job that required a security clearance , have you ?
Then terminated from that job as these clowns were.....?
No , not retired , terminated.
Security clearance and access are the first to go.

Dont yet weep for the recent departed . Too early
There are more on the way , Save the tears for the long list.

My view is that Brennan and a lot of other prior "Obama" back pocket officials are, and have been engaging in felony level sedition, leaking classified information (more felonies), to harm a duly elected president, and so much more. The propaganda power of the MSM is the only thing slowing down their deserved punishment.

Who needs enemies?

It is also highly disturbing and unusual for a former CIA Director to take a paid media position. It is even more unusual and disturbing for him to make a claim like this:

He has something to fear': Former CIA Director John Brennan says Russia 'may have something' damaging on Trump

www.google.com...

No evidence, no proof, just an empty accusation from someone who would be sure if that accusation was true. I am not exactly sure how Mr. Brennan was ever considered for a position in the CIA much less as its Director considering he by his own admission was hesitant to anwser this question during his required polygraph before becoming CIA Director.

Have you ever worked with or for a group that was dedicated to overthrowing the U.S.?"

He only voted for a communist candidate, and that's fine by me, vote for who you want too. However, I would be hesitant to appoint an individual to one of the most powerful positions in the US government who could not anwser that question without hesitation.

I ask ATS, who are the Russians more likely to have compromising material on, Trump or an individual who hesitated. Brennan never should have been considered much less appointed.

Yeah he didn't.
He said unflattering things about trump.
This is punishment.
It's political like firing strzok.
Keeping the big bad FBI front and center so he can say see how bad they are. They got fired... they lost their security clearance. Never mind he's orchestrating the entire thing.
He already startedtweeting about it. If you can't see he's leading you around by the nose well you are just the people he's looking to fool.

Oh and only Brennan had his clearance revoked today. McCabe and Comey lost theirs ages ago when they were fired and none of the others have lost theirs.
This is a warning shot. Don't say bad things about this president because he will punish you and publicly embarrass you.
A warning to anyone in his employ to keep quiet or else.
And it's a great distraction from Omorosa and her tapes which she'll have more tomorrow.
Plus he needs to distract from the Manafort trial which goes to the jury in the morning.
Tomorrow is gonna be a bad bad day for him. I'm sure he will strike out accordingly.

So John Brennan should be allowed to hold the country hostage while
he goes around leaking classified information because he hates President Trump?

How ridiculous, he should be treated like any other lawbreaker.

What is highly irregular is former directors that decide to use their former positions to attempt to undermine a sitting President

Just how did he do that?

These activities are well within the scope of the executive branch. Irregularities and courtesies are of no consequence when evaluating national security concerns. Guess who gets to determine that? Elections have consequences.

Yup.
Can't wait to see what kind of # he pulls tomorrow.

Manaforts trial goes to the jurors after the defense rested without calling a single witness tomorrow morning at 8AM

Omorosa is making the rounds with the media again.
Another taped conversation? Word is the Whitehouse is in a panic wondering who else and what other conversations she may have recorded so he should be in rare form by 9:AM when the morning shows end.

Let's predict how many tweets about Omorosa and how many about Manafort being treated unfairly (of course) and how many about Mueller and the witch hunt. We can combine Mueller with witch hunt for easier tallying.
And how many that mention Clinton, her server and her collusion with the Russians.

Let's see how long he remains at MSNBC w/out his clearance

Why would this matter? He's not getting a lobotomy.

All former government officials who leave government service need to have their clearance revoked. Allow their successors the latitude to be able to call up the person they replaced for info if need be on a case by case basis.

The reason you quote is the reason they retain it. In case their departmental memory is needed to assist a successor in a similar or continuing situation.

Given the facts to date about how some of them conspired to bring Trump down is further evidence on why this needs to happen

No one conspired to bring down trump. No one can find any evidence of this which is why he's railing against Sessions and Rosenstein.
And senior republicans are not backing him or this idea but they're not condemning him either. The wusses.

Sarah Sanders said he did NOT leak classified information when asked directly by a reporter at today press conference. I heard her with my own ears.

In a statement read by administration spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the White House, the president accused Brennan of abusing his access to classified information by using it to “sow division and chaos

Read that to mean he said bad stuff about me...
It's nothing but a warning. Open your eyes.
Here's what China has to say about it

www.scmp.com...

Trump yanks ex-CIA chief John Brennan’s security clearance, hitting a critic who says he ‘will not relent’

‘This action is part of a broader effort by Mr Trump to suppress freedom of speech and punish critics. It should gravely worry all Americans’

That's China saying that!
