Like I said in thread regarding the monkey flakka like drug, many leos are involved in the drug business. This is just one of many cases involving Law
enforcment caught trafficking drugs. This is direct from the U.S DOJ website
LOS ANGELES – A former Los Angeles County deputy sheriff pleaded guilty today to conspiring to distribute methamphetamine, coc aine
and marijuana as part of an interstate drug trafficking scheme in which the deputy agreed to use his position as a law enforcement officer to ensure
the successful transport of narcotics.
Deputy Sheriff Kenneth Collins, 50, of Chino, who separated from the LASD in late February, admitted that he conspired with at least two other
individuals to accept cash payments in exchange for distributing large quantities of controlled substances and actively thwarting the enforcement of
state and local law – in exchange for cash payments as high as $250,000.
These criminals should really be made an example out of. Too bad a lot of times they get away with it or have reduced convictions
Also important to note, I have a lot of respect for law enforcement who are genuinely trying to clean up the streets and protect/serve members of the
public. I know a handful of individuals like this myself, however i have dealt with egotistical and unethical ones as well

Mmmm, that's not really terribly suprising. Its a huge department and I'd guess that with the spread between pay and the cost of living in or around
LA county.............temptation has to be a big problem.
We had a local cop that about once a year he would get a great Chicago to Detroit run bust in the middle of the night. Went on for 7-8 years till
someone finally caught on he was escorting loads and they would let him sacrifice one every now and then to make him look good. The Feds finally
caught him on a tip because he wanted more $$$$ so they sacrificed him.
