One pixie elixir coming up. Sorry I'm late in getting it to you. I had to chase the pixie down first. She was in the garden causing mischief with the faeries.

Whoot!!

That rocked Bro!

You should chime into the thread in my Sig, as long as you don't take any responses to heart, it's all in good fun.

Darien….drunk all the kegs dry over these past silent months.

What an atrocity. Here is a little help to hold him over.

We all need a wee dram, so there is free bar, just to celebrate.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder..

Or maybe the pixie's mixed my drink to strong...

But,

I read that sign as "The Weed Ram"

I'm sorry hun i was watching the fake Alaskan Bush people...

It's way past my bed time and I'm a tad inebriated.

I'm doing my best to stop posting after hours since I failed to do simple math in a thread last night. Highly embarrassing...

I'm here, lurking till I pass out...

If you get real lonely you can always stomp on the floor boards and try to wake me up...

New Beginnings
by Kaelci for the Shedlands

~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Kaelci snapped awake. Where was she? The sun shone through the window, illuminating each intricate iron spiral wrought about the high arch, and the hints of gold threaded along the crystal walls held a glow of their own, gleaming brighter the longer she looked. The bed she lay upon was soft, it was as a cloud beneath her body, or perhaps a delicate petal akin to a fairy's nest —she looked down— no, it was definitely a bed —she raised an arm— and she was not a fairy, the shape of her limb remained human.

The black sleeve of her robes fell to reveal a delicate silver chain fixed to her wrist. Had that always been there? She could not remember. There were vague memories of a forest, of strange lights that danced beneath the moon, and Darien... she sat upright. That's right! She had been searching for that cursed Magister but had been held trapped by some sort of ill-magic, and now she was home. At least it looked like home. Was this not her room in the Shed? If it wasn't, it was a flawless illusion.

She hopped out of bed, wincing as she met the floor. By the Gods! It was as ice beneath her toes. Perhaps some carpet would be necessary; though beautiful, a room made entirely of crystal was a poor choice in Accasia's cooler seasons. At least there were warm carpets and rugs downstairs, and a fireplace, and hot chocolate... mmm, delightful and delicious! Darien could wait. She leapt down the spiral staircase, ignoring the chill that tried to freeze her feet, and whipped open the door. Soft, warm carpets at last.

Music played in the distance, faint laughter echoed down the corridor —it sounded like home— and pastel lights all colours of the rainbow flickered past the far doorway. The pixies must be in full swing this evening. That didn't bode well. She would need to keep an extra eye on her hot chocolate lest that nefarious pink-haired pixie was up to her usual games.

She only had two eyes; this would be tricky.

I love the quiet of the Shed at this time ... 🤫.. Sheddites are sleeping. I can’t upset anyone that way 😉.

It is the way it is. 😏

Are you trying to steer me towards what music to pick and play ? 😆 won’t work. I play what I play... and most peeps just skip over my music anyhow.. so no big deal. 😉
