I had breakfast for lunch and just got groceries, went to the bank and picked up a couple of prescriptions. No goodies today.

The place we went to eat at had a former coworker of Linda's. They spent so much time gabbing that it was like having lunch alone for half the time we were there. There was another place we used to go to and same situation. I had to ask for creamer for my coffee 3 times and still didn't get it until the 4th time. My Sister does that at some restaurants. She and her Hubby are always eating out so she knows so many waitresses and waiters and gabs away like crazy. If it's not that it's her Daughter in Law calling. She live up the street from my Sister and sees her every day. Is it just me or is that rude?

I can see running into someone, talking a little and saying you'll be in touch, but sheesh.

It is not threatening homes here but it is a large fire and I always feel for native animals caught up in it.

There is about 80 fires burning state wide and it is still Winter !

Summer is a worry ...

Here is a tribute song to Aretha Franklin. This was not too long ago(2015)...she sure could belt them out , even at her age.. what an incredible talent.

There are many “ natural “disasters happening at this time and I expect more.😕 It is a time for prayer and conversion, in my opinion. But that is an entirely different topic, for a different thread.

Just got a fire alert on my phone that the fire is out of co trol and is 1,800 acres large !

I am not currently affected but the wind has whipped up.

Dad is a couple of hundred miles away and luckily no fires there but the drought is really bad.
