What was the highlight of your day ? Doesn’t need to be anything out of the ordinary.. can be as simple as a waitress that was really nice, or a store clerk. If you don’t feel like answering that question, just disregard it. 😏

Hi Night !

I used to drive 10km down the beach at night to go fishing. I would wade out chest deep to get a good cast beyond the breakers, then retreat to the shore and place my fishing rod in a holder in the sand and wait for a hit.

A couple of locals decided to put a game fishing chair on the bull bar of a Ute. One of them would take the bait out past the breakers on a boogey board.

They would have a shark hooked up before the bloke on the board could get back to shore !!

I stopped night fishing on my own.

There was a you tube video of their efforts.

It is safe to swim between the flags during the warmer months when the beach is patrolled.

You can see sharks, dolphins and whales from the shore though.

You're not hopeless.

You remind me of me on the phone sometimes when someone asks if anything exciting has been going on. I'm like...ME? My life is rather uneventful. Now if asked about my wild youth, that would be another story. LOL

I don't always have a lot to say either, but it's ok.

Glad to hear there are safe times when you can get in the water. Do you have many sea shells or sea glass where you are? I bet you have some great seafood restaurants out your way. Do you have a lot of cool little shops? I love the quant little shops in touristy areas and art galleries. You can find unique and beautiful items.

Though I am in the smallest State of Rhode Island, we are known as the ocean State and man do we have some great seafood restaurants.

There are all those quirky touristy places and great produce in the area. Avocado farms, home made jams etc.

It is a semi rural area, so nature is always right here. 😎
