This is the movie in question. Even though Adam Sandler doesn't quite fit the role of a grieving person this movie shares how isolated we are and what we go through.

Edit to add - being a widower is like being from another planet. No one on Earth can ever understand what is going on in my head unless they have been there too. I've lost my wife then her parents. I have step-daughter who I never hear from as I think she is blaming me somehow for her mom's death. Add to that I'm a member of the 10% group, those who are left-handed in a world made for and by right-handed people. I also have a traumatic brain injury that makes me the much more different from others. Yet I am expected to be a part of a world of nothing but strangers to me.

I've leaving out my most recent nonsense of dad as that doesn't matter right now. I just feel I would better off if I could break something.

Just watched the trailer, and it seems pretty emotional 😕.

I decided to skip the whopper and have some left over drumsticks with a heaping pile of mixed veggies. No carbs, which is good. 😁

There is one fly in my apartment that is playing with me. I’m trying to kill it, but it’s fast. I hate flies with a passion, and this one knows.. lol.. it keeps dive bombing me , then flies off quickly. I may have to make it my mission to destroy it this evening.

Shep, it so wonderful to have you back home with us again. When people go missing and especially for long periods of time, I worry and wonder how they are. So...yay, you're back!

Ha! Good luck with that fly. You could always chase after it with a can of hairspray, but then everything would be sticky and you'd have to wipe everything down after. LOL

Good evening Shed family!

I dragged my disheveled raggety self out today and went to hang out with my friend Belinda. She is house bound currently with her own health issues and suggested I go over to "mope together"..."so I did.
We drank tea, she fed me lunch and supper...I did the dishes and just got back now.

Jumped into my jammies, running outside for one last smoke...and then I am coming back to catch up.
Good to see a couple of pages of chitchat...hope everyone is doing well.
