I agree, the fire breathing is messing my hair up.

I just ate an entire box of Fibre One brownies...there were 5 brownies in the box.
All gone.
I have no guilt right now but in the morning I will likely feel terrible about it.

Figures now I'm half asleep and the evening munchies are kicking in.

Yeah ok.. maybe I should switch to drinking copious amounts of beer throughout the day, instead.

Just kidding, but we all pick our poisons, and I doubt the odd Diet Pepsi will kill me.

Well, you keep drinking your product of nature and I’ll continue enjoying Diet Pepsi on occasion. I don’t like the taste of regular Pepsi, so I guess I’ll just die sooner. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Every fall when the maple leaves are on the ground, they crawl and move.

Does anyone know why?

My only guess would be that some kind of bug or other animal is moving the leaves. Bedding, food, etc. Perhaps hedgehogs...?

I've watched these things for hours, and have not seen any critter moving them.

They also curl up like fingers closing into a fist.

Or the fingers will curl downwards like a hand walking across the ground.

My son just watched one , and he said maybe a worm is carrying it for camouflage.

Though that doesn't explain it's curling ,opening and closing.

Sorry, it's so creepy, that it's causing the nerve damage pain.

If they are creeping you out Gail, try to go watch a good movie or listen to some soothing music. Have your Son sit up with you for awhile perhaps.

We have all sat on the porch watching them, in past years,

I thought maybe a mole or maybe a big spider, I've flipped them to look under, and nothing there.
