I remeber that back in the 90's it was like a raging fire myth and now nobody even talks about t.I have even seen it on video in discovery channel.DO you think the govt knows anything about it.

There are a lot of diverse theories out there; personally, I believe Bigfoot is just an animal. As for the gov't, I do not think they know anything (more than others do) about them. Since they(Bigfoot) are so reclusive, the gov't would have as hard a time as anybody else finding them, and if the gov't is responsible for them (is it even possible?), then they let their experiment get way out of hand, and, moreover, chose something that attracts a lot of attention--not very smart if they(Bigfoot) are a top secret project.

Now that you mention it, I think that since the last surviving member of the most famous Bigfoot footage
stated it was all a hoax on his deathbed, that I haven't heard of a single new report of the yeti/sasquach.

When did anyone admit it was a hoax? You are talking about the paterson footage, right?

I don't recall the name, but it is the one shot by the two cowboys. Wait and I will try to find a link.

Opps! Had my info a bit mixed up. Sorry, here is what I was refering to.

Long traced the Bigfoot costume to Philip Morris, a North Carolina gorilla suit specialist, who says he sold it for $435 to an amateur documentary maker named Roger Patterson (who died in 1972), according to the paper.

The hoax was staged near Bluff Creek in Northern California, according to Heironimus.

But just because 'they' made it a joke 'hoax' does not mean all other stories and encounters are fake.Thats the thing, people are now saying, well since he admitted it was a fake, they must ALL be fake

Not saying anyone here is saying that, just the feeling I get since you dont hear much anymore.

Though you might want to check out the SCI-FI channel as they still run stories with updates,as well as The TRAVEL channel.
