Just a few of my reasons and history:
Bria was not my daughter but tended to stay with us at least four nights a week due to her mother working. She had no father and as a result she had
asked me if I would be her father one day when she was only five years old. She was a smart, sweet, and good little girl full of life and fun as she
tried to grow and learn while experiencing her life.
While Bria was riding her bicycle back from school on Wednesday she went missing.
All the village turned out to hunt for her but all that was found was her bicycle next to the school's road.
It was a five minute ride for her on her bicycle to reach her home or our house.
The police and even the Army searched but to no avail, however there was a break in Bria's case when another child was abducted not three weeks
later. Luckily, there was a witness who had the presence of mind to get the license plate number of the bad guys vehicle.
The police ended up arresting the individual and after some serious police persuasion he lead them to the graves of four children he had abducted.
They were all little girls between the ages of 5 and 8 years old .
I will spare everyone the gruesome details that the forensic investigation and the discoveries made during the autopsies of the girls, as that is not
the reason for this story.
I went to the trial for a couple of weeks and by all indications it appeared due to his connections/money the worse he was going to get was 16 years
in jail. 16 years around here usually turns into 4 years and a release for good behavior. You see, the bad guy was a person of good standing and he
was rather rich. He was married with three kids and supposedly a pillar of his community/village.
No doubt, if the dead had been little boys, even with all his wealth and connections, he would have gotten life or even a death sentence if past
historical cases are any indication.
To say I was hurting and disgusted would be an understatement so I decided to become a criminal for all to see. Not really that big of a deal for me
as I had just been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer with maybe six months to live.
With the diagnoses and my life changing decision I took my life's saving and purchased a large annuity that would pay my wife monthly for the rest of
her life. In my opinion she would be set with or without me. I had not planned on telling her of my plans for she was a devout Buddhist and swore she
wanted me to live forever. There were a few other loose ends to tie up but nothing was all that time consuming or onerous.
The decision and the plan, or where I intended to become a criminal:
There were metal detectors in the court house so I needed something that would be effective without setting off the detectors. Luckily there are
knives that are made out of ceramic which I was able to find and purchase at the local market. It was a butcher knife with an 7 inch blade (sharp as
hell) which I felt would be adequate for my purposes.
My day of becoming a criminal and the sentencing phase of the trial had arrived so I strapped my knife to the center of my chest with duck tape and
grabbed a picture of Bria that I had taken one day with her mother.
I was seated in the front row along with my wife and Bria's mother and brother.
The bad guy was escorted into the judges chamber from a left entry door and was seated along with his lawyers not ten feet in front of us. I waited
for the judge to enter and for the bailiff to say, “All rise” before I made my move. I had the blade out and in hand as all were getting to their
feet with their eyes focused on the judge's entry. I took three steps and with one swipe I cut deeply into the side of the defendant neck. I was
rewarded with seeing blood shoot out (almost three feet) from the wound as his cathartic artery was severed . I then without hesitation, buried the
knife up to the hilt into the other side of his neck at a 45 degree downward angle.
There were women screaming as I was then wrestled and subdued by cops and no telling who else. I guess I was lucky no one shot me but in my mind, so
what if they had.
It was only three days later that I had a heart attack and actually died. There was a tunnel of light and in the tunnel was Bria smiling along with
several departed friends I had known in my 76 years on earth. Unfortunately the damn prison doctor was able to revive me.
Here I lay all alone except for the machines waiting for death, My seeds have been sown and the fruits of my life are ripe so I am ready to leave with
no regrets other than I wish I could have looked the bastard in his eyes as I killed him..
