I'm sure there are other platforms, the problem is that none of them are integrated into literally every site on the internet... look at the share menu at the top of this page as an example.

These massive tech companies have essentially corporatized the town square.

And it's still not a monopoly since the other sites are there for people to use nor has Twitter, Facebook or YouTube move to acquire or shutdown their competitors.

Are you serious? It's no secret that Alphabet (Google) buys out all of their competition and owns almost all of the mainstream platforms, you think they are going to let anyone under their umbrella promote a third-party that hasn't been ordained by them?

I don't use Google, I use Bing. Call me when that search engine is gone.

And forget about DuckDuckGo.

Each one of those acquisitions has an analogue.

Bing is owned by Microsoft... who we all know had their fair share of antitrust issues.

Also, when you share something on Bing... tell me which platforms come up besides Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc. It's all the same and you know it. It doesn't matter which engine you use, it all leads to the same place. The town square has been corporatized.

And is a competitor to Google, so therefore no monopoly.

Do you not know how to search so you eliminate sites you don't want in the results? There's also Instagram, Flickr, Tumblr, Reddit and a host of others that come up in my search.

Uh... those are the sites I'm talking about. Those are the mainstream platforms that are connected and integrated into every single website on the internet. Aren't you surprised how there is only a handful of them, at best, and how they coordinate in unison to de-platform whoever they want?

Hmmm.

A 'handful', by definition, isn't a monopoly, one is.

Remember in Orwell's 1984, how the government would "Unperson" someone for wrong think, essentially banning them from society and erasing their entire history.

Who knew it would become a reality, and it would be unregulated politically biased tech companies that usher it in.

Twitter, Facebook and YouTube have become the town square. There is no real alternative. Freedom of speech has been corporatized.

I guess the same as all anti-social nerds

But seriously, people who rely on social media for their careers, their livelihoods, or just simply to get their voice heard have no other options. If you don't use those platforms you essentially don't even exist in the zeitgeist. You're an Unperson.

Has Gavin McInnes ever contributed to the Deaths of 321,384 Babies like Planned Parenthood did Last Year , bringing their Total to over 7.6 million Fetal Deaths since 1973 ? Yet Liberal Leaning Big Tech Companies such as Facebook , Google , and Apple have NO Problem with Planned Parenthood on their Sites . WTF is Up with that ? The American People DEMAND to Know what the Federal Government and Specifically Congress are doing about this Blatant Censorship , and the Violation of First Amendment Rights of ANY of it's Citizens ! .

They can ban all they want. When they do this. I hunt these peoples other accounts down and subscribe to them, just for the support if anything else. It's just my personal way of fighting back with what I can fight back with. I did the same with Alex Jones. Like them or not, its an attack on our rights to free speech and the Liberals are clearly breaking the laws by censoring free speech. I see that they didn't even give Gavan a reason on that notification. They will overcome one way or another. Everyone knows why these Liberal scumbags are REALLY censoring them. The election is soon, and these social media collosals like Jones, Gavan, Mark Dice and Tomi Lauren (amongst others) were all pivotal to getting the information to the people, as to the crimes that the Democrats were perpetrating against our laws regarding voting. They used all the major social media platforms like Twitter for instance, to do it. The think that if they ban them, that most people won't be able to see them pulling their underhanded tactics to try to win again. They couldn't be further from the truth, because people already know how they work, and what they did the last time. All they are doing now...is losing hundreds, if not thousands of members. In short...they're just as stupid as all of the Liberals that they're trying to help win by nefarious and deceitful tricks.

Why don't they just admit that this is really about Trump, the upcoming mid term elections, and fact that they don't want him to win. So they are trying to censor and de-platform personalities on social media that support him.

AJ and McInnes are just the canaries in the coal mine. They always start with the fringe groups to get as many people on their side as possible, just like how they started with the Socialists and Trade Unionists in Nazi Germany. They are just priming the public for a full purge in 2020.

How about Paul Joseph Watson , is he Next ? .....Hmm....

" Ad Platform Caves to Mob Outrage, Bans Infowars

Criteo cites “violation of advertising guidelines,” fails to point out a single example . "

" In related news, video hosting platform Vimeo banned Infowars, citing our claim that there were Islamic training camps in America as the reason, despite the fact that this is completely true.
As was widely reported last week, five Islamic extremists were arrested after being caught training children to carry out school shootings.
So in other words, Big Tech is now banning us for reporting accurately about real world events. That’s the level it has reached."

How Long Will it take the Average American Citizen to see the Dangerous Precedent set here and it's Ramifications for the Censorship of their Own Personal Right to Free Speech ? Write your Congressman and DEMAND he Address this Important Concern ASAP ..............

During Charlottesville last year they had Based Stickman, Baked Alaska, etc. now they claim they are non Alt Right that those and others are not around. Yeah, as that really changes Gavin's views.

LOl the comments by people on their site. IMO the pro rhetoric is going word by word by the site(copy and paste), or is by one of those commenters in reply.

They seem a deranged bunch of nutters to me. Whining about Islam, banning all immigration, 'venerating' housewives and criticising women who choose to be independent, working for their money.
Nope, I see a crazy group of men who just want to go back to some 1950's lil' house on the prairie type of lifestyle, where women know their place and they touch up the paint on their white picket fence while waiting for the wife to make the bacon sandwiches...while appropriately dressed conservatively as a woman should of course.
They can keep that world, I prefer strong independent women to subservient servants.
