So anyone who leans left wants to take freedoms away? Sorry DB but I'm calling BS on your generalizations and broad brush stereotypes.

So are you for more freedoms or less when compared to say a classical liberal or libertarian?

I am for more rights and freedoms as long as they don’t harm someone else’s rights and freedoms.

The only way leftists win is to cheat.

Your trolling is so sad DB.....

I just want to send you a fruit-basket.

I like melon.

And what I said was true.

the leftist ideology isn't about more freedoms, it's actually about less.

But it's "couched" in a way (a lie) so that it appears to offer stuff for free.

Voter fraud is part and parcel of what they do.

And right wing ideology is: freedom for all who agree with our strict ideologies.

So much better...

Who said I always agree with those on the right?

I guess I got that idea from your heavy anti-left post history.

Silly me.

So I have to be a right wing conservative in order to criticize the leftist ideology?

That's stupid.

And I'm an idiot. So if an idiot thinks that is stupid, you might need to seek help.

I think *you* think you aren't a right wing conservative.
And that's fine. I think I'm smart and hilarious.

We all have our personal beliefs.

The Kansas governor race is within 91 votes so I would say that yes, voter fraud is a big issue.

ca.news.yahoo.com...

Only a few votes...

The problem is that the left only THINK they are being harmed when others' rights are being protected.

This is why voter ID would never work because everyone knows dead people don't have ID anymore!

I could say the same thing about the right.

Very true, but I don't believe for one minute that purging voter rolls or putting a voter ID law into play is going to harm anyone.

Does anyone else think its purely coincidental that the Republican/Conservative strategies to combat voter fraud disproportionately disenfranchise legal voters who by some strange coincidence heavily lean left?

Like, the strategy is clearly to convince people voter fraud is a serious problem requiring massive draconian measures to verify ID's and whatnot, and the net effect is hundreds of votes nationally are corrected where there was an error, and thousands upon thousands of legal voters are unable to vote as a byproduct.

In summation: Disenfranchising 10% of the left to stop the 0.2% of illegal votes. Win Win!

You mean like the person who was 'purged' erroneously and therefore doesn't get to vote come election time. I guess you and I have entirely different definitions of the word 'harm'.

How hard is it to make a telephone call or get online and check your registration status before you take the time to actually go vote?

That's a subjectively qualitative question. Clearly to you it is effortless, so you are assuming its effortless for everyone (which is an incorrect assumption).

How was the vote cast? Did someone show up or was it mailed in? I think absentee ballots have had a problem with fraud for a long time.

Both parties.

If someone can't figure it out, they aren't smart enough to be voting imho.
